Blessed with this word, i am currently going through similar situation, there is desire and conviction to read the word every day, but i couldnt do it.. Even if i do just one chapter with emotions..now i understand that is why i am spiritually dead no matter how much pray and worship the Lord while moving from one place to another, that i am not making time for the Lord but trying to occupy Him somewhere. Currently I'm using nkjv, may i know the version that mentioned in the podcast ?

I switch between NLT and NIV for Chapter study and compare single verses with 4 or 5 different versions. I have a daily verse of the day reminder which expands on that verse with a video teaching, a devotional, a guided prayer and a review of the verse ! Amazingly, this is all set up for me in a very user-friendly way which takes around 5 minutes with the YouVersion Bible App ! If I miss this in the am, I can pick it up on coffee break, at lunch or before bed.
