New Zealanders are rightly proud of Eleanor Catton’s Booker Prize-winning book ‘The Luminaries’, and from this weekend we'll be able to enjoy the story on the small-screen. Eleanor herself has adapted the story, and it's been made into a six-part series, filmed in New Zealand. Jack Tame has been talking to Himesh Patel, who you might know as the star of last year's Beetles movie Yesterday, and plays Emery Staines in The Luminaries, which starts on Sunday 17th May on TVNZ 1. LISTEN TO AUDIO ABOVE
