In light of the recent acts of racist violence against African Americans by police, including the the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Senators Elgie R. Sims Jr., Patricia Van Pelt and Robert Peters came together for a discussion on police reform. Senators shared how they have been affected by these incidents, their plans moving forward and how individuals can become allies and join the fight for justice and equality.
