In this episode of the podcast, host Emily Van Buskirk talks about the return of baseball and the new normal for its media members.
First, she chats with St. Louis Post Dispatch Cardinals beat writer Derrick Goold about Baseball 2.0 - from spring training in Florida to now. Goold talks about his journey through the sports industry and what the new normal at the ballpark is plus how the change in sports has sharpened his powers of observation.
Later, Emily speaks with the A's beat writer for the Athletic, Alex Coffey about her version of events - what is was like to be in Arizona during Spring Training when everything suddenly shut down to now covering the Athletics over zoom meetings and conference calls.
