Returning for a third season on Dec. 9, Mozart in the Jungle explores the egos and eccentricities of a world-renowned orchestra, where artistic dedication and creativity collide with mind games, politicking and survival instincts. With a volatile mix of strong personalities and big egos, what happens behind the curtains at the symphony is just as captivating as what happens on stage.

Starring alongside Gael Garcia Bernal, Malcolm McDowell, Jason Schwartzman and Bernadette Peters is English film & television actress Saffron Burrows. Saffron first came to the attention of international audiences with her role in the hit film Circle of Friends with Minnie Driver. She continued to turn heads with roles in popular films such as Troy, Deep Blue Sea, Miss Julie and Reign Over Me, before focusing on television, appearing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Law & Order: Criminal Intent, My Own Worst Enemy and Boston Legal.

Saffron, who learned to play the cello for her role as New York Philharmonic cellist Cynthia, can discuss the critically acclaimed series and what's in store for season three.
