In this episode of The GateKeepers Radio Show, Jeff Dornik continues his study of Matthew 23. We see Jesus confronting the Religious Elite for figuring out ways to not have to keep their word. They would prioritize oaths based on what they made the oath on. Instead, Jesus said to simply let your yes be yes and your no be no. Be men and women of your word. We recently saw an example of this in Phil Johnson's oath to permanently delete his Twitter account, only to turn around and choose to go back on his word and keep it, carrying on as if nothing happened. The Evangelical Elite are the modern day Pharisees, and comparing Jesus' indictment on them to the church today, you'll see the comparisons are uncanny.
