Justice for Dione Begay Thomas
3 MAR 2024 · Dione Begay was born on March 28th, 1975. She was the eldest of six children and is described by her sister Christine as having a positive perspective on life and a witty sense of humor which is missed by her loved ones. Dione was beautiful, vibrant, outgoing, intelligent, and family-orientated. She was a mother of four daughters and had unique, close relationships with her entire family. Dione had several tribal connections via her parents, Debbie and Laffie Begay. Dione’s mother Debbie is part of the Dakotas ‘Yankton’ and ‘Arikara’ tribe, and her father, the ‘Navajo’ and ‘Dine’ tribe. As a Native American woman, Dione Begay is one of many Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in New Mexico who is yet to receive justice, despite the brutality inflicted upon her and the obvious circumstances of the crime. Her family's pleas for help have also continued to be ignored. This is the story of Dione Begay Thomas.

Unsolved_ Justice for Yvonne Martinez
8 JAN 2024 · On Saturday, October 11th, 2003, police were called to County Road 136B, 10 miles north of Espanola, following the discovery of a deceased female – 37-year-old Yvonne Martinez. Yvonne had been brutally murdered, and it was clear from the scene that a struggle had occurred. Despite the investigation identifying several suspects and many crucial pieces of evidence, the case has continued to remain unsolved for over 20 years.

Her son, Chien Si fought tooth and nail to keep his mom’s case in spotlight— to make people care… but without clues pointing to an answer, the attention on Tot’s case tapered off, and the trail eventually went cold.
