A prayer for those suffering a loss
29 SEP 2023 · I come to you today in prayer for [name of person who is suffering a loss]. They are suffering through the loss of [name of loved one], and I pray that you would surround them with your love and comfort during this difficult time.Help them to know that they are not alone, and that you are with them every step of the way. Give them the strength to bear the pain of their loss, and the courage to face the days ahead.Help them to find solace in the memories of their loved one, and to cherish the time they had together. Give them the wisdom to understand that grief is a natural process, and that it takes time to heal.I pray that you would send your angels to watch over [name of person who is suffering a loss] and to protect them from harm. Give them peace of mind and heart, and help them to find hope in the midst of their sorrow.In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.You can also add specific requests to your prayer, such as praying for the person to be able to sleep well, to eat healthy foods, or to have the strength to go to work or school. You can also pray for their loved ones who are also grieving, and for the community to support them during this time.
