10-09-26 Hour 3 - Broken Broncos offense by the numbers/Eliminating the Bo Nix varibales/DRUNK TAKES
9 OCT 2026 · 0:00 - Brett has some numbers that put in perspective just how bad the Bronos offense has been so far. Oof. Can Sean Payton turn it around now that he's taken back playcalling?
13:51 - Vic has a theory about why Sean Payton took back playcalling on offense. It all comes down to one thing: figuring out if Bo Nix is worth a $50-$60 million/year contract.
32:14 - It's our favorite part of the week DRUNK TAKES! We take clips from throughout the week, slow em down to half speed and it makes us sound like we're hammered.Â
Today's edition includes: HEY BATTA BATTA BATTA, I can find a hoe, HUR HUR HUR, and move my hog.Â

9 OCT 2026 · 0:00 - Second night of a back to back? No problem. The Avalanche laid waste to the Calgary Flames yesterday 7-3. The Avs are GOOD and Calgary is BAD. Like, complete tear-down rebuild bad. BAD bad. It's stupid to say "must-win" this early in the season, but that was a must-win game for the Avs. Â
13:05 - Moser's leaving early today to travel home with the Avs, so we need to LAY IT DOWN right now! How did he do last week? Did he go .500 or better? Does he get to keep his music? Or will he be relegated to the pit of misery?
After that, Brett thinks Sean Payton handled his presser very well yesterday when he announced that he'll be calling the plays on offense on Sunday. The word Kaner used was "defiant."
31:37 - Oh, by the way...MLB proposed some changes to the schedule/season, including returning to the old 154-game schedule. And also, some higher-seeded teams would be able to pick their opponent in the playoffs. Spicy!
Oh, by the way...Joel Embiid flopped (shocker, I know) and took out Jaylen Brown in the process. In a preseason game. Philly fans just saw their lives flash before their eyes!
Oh, by the way...this new documentary on Nick Saban will be must-see-TV

9 OCT 2026 · 0:00 - How's that for a get-right game? The Avalanche went to Calgary on the 2nd night of a back to back and OBLITERATED the Flames 7-3! Not bad, boys.
Well...that didn't take long...After 4 games, Sean Payton took back offensive playcalling duties from Davis Webb. It became officially official yesterday.
15:47 - If the offense continues to sputter even with Sean Payton calling the plays, Brett thinks Payton will come out unscathed. Teflon Sean will survive. The blame will shift to Bo Nix instead.
33:21 - Even a blind squirrel finds a nut. The 0-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers went to JerruhWorld last night with an undrafted rookie backup QB and beat the Cowboys 24-16. How did they do it, you ask? By RUNNING. THE DAMN. FOOTBALL. That's how you support your QB. Pound the friggin rock all night long. You listening, Broncos?

8 OCT 2026 · 0:00 - Jeff Legwold has DEFINITELY heard the rumors about Sean Payton taking back the playcalling duties from Davis Webb. Can Leggy offer some clarity? Are the rumors true? To what degree are they true?
Leggy's interviews are brought to you by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. IBEW LOCAL 68. Start with a job, end with a career.Â
19:00 - If the Payton/Webb playcalling rumors are true, are you surprised at all? Vic says it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Brett disagrees.Â
31:34 - It doesn't matter who's calling plays on offense. In the end, you HAVE to beat the Chargers. Their injury is LONG. And 5 of their injured players are o-linemen. It's time to head to LA and whoop some Charger tuchus.Â

18:37 - Hey, look who's up and at em! Moser is finally awake in Calgary after a long and late travel night. What happened to the Avs last night in their 3-2 loss to the Jets? Winnipeg's barn has NEVER been kind to the Avs. Would Moser go as far as to say the Avs got...g[redacted]? Can we use the G word?
32:10 - Oh, by the way...Bomani Jones said on his podcast that the Deion days are numbered at CU. The experiment is over. In his rant, he made a good point about how Deion lost his competitive advantage very quickly.
Oh, by the way...Moser found a cover band that only plays Van Halen songs with the lyrics changed to be about Iowa Hawkeyes football. Check out their hit song MIGHT AS WELL PUNT!
Oh, by the way...Kenny Albert was on the call of the NLDS last night. He had to fill-in last minute for Joe Davis who usually handles PxP. And Kenny Albert got the call that he needed to fill in while he was...prepping for a colonoscopy?

8 OCT 2026 · 0:00 - Rumors started swirling last night that Sean Payton is taking back playcalling duties from Davis Webb. He's seen enough after 4 weeks and it's time to make a change. Nothing's official yet, but if it's true, Brett thinks it's a little (a lot) premature.
14:49 - Winnipeg continues to be a House of Horrors (or a House of Hoors) for the Avs. They can't win in that damn building (except for that one playoff series when Hellebuyuck was sieve. Stuart Skinner playd pretty well last night. Did the Avs get...G[redacted]? Are we allowed to use the G word?
Bo Nix was asked yesterday why he seems so scared to take risks this year. Why isn't he hucking that pig downfield? His answer wasn't what Vic or Brett wanted to hear.
34:02 - Do your best Big Papi impression: DA JANKEES LOSE! DAAAAAAAAAAAA JANKEES LOSE! And why did they lose, you ask? Because another ham-handed Yankees fan interfered with a home run ball. When will these people learn?

7 OCT 2026 · American Sports Announcer Ian Eagle will be on the call for Broncos @ Chargers this weekend. What has he learned about this Broncos squad as he's preparing for the broadcast? He's met with Sean Payton in plenty of production meetings over the years. What's Sean like behind the scenes?
Most importantly, can we get Ian to incorporate another silly phrase into his play by play?

21:12 - Everyone's debating if Bo Nix's struggles are Bo's fault or Davis Webb's fault. Brett explains why one of those is DEFINITELY the lesser of two evils.
Also, the Avalanche are in Winnipeg tonight! What's are Moser's Keys to the Game?
32:18 - Yesterday, Walker Monfort announced that the Rockies are raising their season ticket prices after **checks notes** losing 100+ ballgames for the 4th consecutive season. According to Vic, this move is totally fair and justified because of the business of sports. Be that as it may, it's definitely a tough sell to the fanbase.

7 OCT 2026 · 0:00 - The Avs are off to a hot start! They're averaging 7 goals a game in the young season. Can they keep their momentum rolling into the ice planet of Winnipeg tonight? Let's ask Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar himself.

14:20 - We do it every Wednesday at 8:20am! Brett says confusingly-worded statements about the NFL and Moser and Vic have to determine if they're True or False!
Also, you're not crazy. There have been an insane about of penalties called through 4 weeks of the NFL season, and Adam Schefter has the stats to prove it.
32:27 - Oh, by the way...this Padres vs Brewers series has been absolute cinema! Every game has come down to the final out!
Oh, by the way...Nebraska is selling a bunch of memorabilia from the old Memorial Stadium, including...a bathroom trough?
Oh, by the way...Lane Johnson announced his retirement from the NFL yesterday and it throws a MASSIVE wrench into their already tumultuous season. Jalen Hurts' tush is in danger of not being pushed effectively ever again.
