7 OCT 2024 · In this podcast, WSU student representative, Catherine Cara, and Director of Professional Affairs, Boris Zhang interviews two pharmacists who recently finished a PGY1 experience. Through this discussion, they will explore what led both of these pharmacists to pursue PGY1’s and then what led them to choose their current route. Dr. Spencer Knudson finished his PGY1 experience at Tacoma General and is now practicing as a pharmacist doing both amb care services and inpatient services. Dr. Kaela Bergeron did her PGY1 residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center and is now doing her PGY2 psychatric residency with UW Medicine. Please listen to this podcast to explore advice and views on residency prep and lessons learned from different PGY1 paths.

Kevin discusses questions regarding the use of AI in and out of the classroom while Joshua and Jennifer provides their experience of where students have used it or how they may potentially use it. This podcast is a must listen for all educators as AI slowly integrates itself into the daily life of students and eventually makes its way into the classroom setting.
