A lot of the episode focus on the pandemic and the US measures to face it. 20 NOV 2020 · Episode 7 of Good Night and Good Luck, the radio program of Università Bocconi Television and Culture's students produced in partnership with Radio Bocconi, takes place in a "muddled" phase of the 2020 race for the White House: while President-Elect Joe Biden is trying to build up his future administration without any help or acknowledgement as expected in a usual transition of powers, President Donald Trump is still refusing to concede the race and is engaging in baseless legal battles and conspiracies. All this happens while the country continues to be ravaged by COVID-19, with cases making all-time high almost on a day-to-day basis. In this episode, we have tried to do our best by answering some questions left by the 2020 Elections so far, to try to have a first look into the future.
In this episode:
- Some reasons why Joe Biden has won the 2020 Presidential Election
- Whether the US are stronger or weaker on the global stage after the Elections
- President Donald Trump and his refusal to concede the race
- The COVID-19 effect into the 2020 US Elections
- Whether the media, both "mainstream" and digital, have learned, in 2020, their lessons from 2016.
Episode hosted by Andrea Quartarone, Ennio Terrasi Borghesan, Lorenzo Fornaseri, Sofia Rosti, Holly Ting, Patrik Lamberg, Elena Chiarini, Francesco Toma, Martina Chiappini, Iulia Savoiu, Raykhona Rustamova, Francesca La Gioia, Ester Salvatore.
