27 OCT 2020 · Sorry for gaps in uploading we both have been qiute busy lately so please bear with us! In this episode we talk about various differences in other religions. Also about how Christianity is the one true religion and Jesus our Lord is the only founder that is still with us today! We use the video entitled “Is Islam false? Watch this” by the Cross examined channel, link is here https://youtu.be/Yqy6CppVCAA . Please make sure to follow the insta @faithfulfisherman and be sure to comment any topic ideas or feedback!
13 OCT 2020 · In this episode we talked about various aspects of the faith and why we should continue the race and persevere towards being more like Jesus and embodying the fruits of the spirit. Praying and identifying and using the gifts the Holy Spirit gives you is also important in building the church and others up in faith. I pray that all of us can use our gifts for the Lord and for those around us and to build others up! No video in this one just a discussion! God bless you all and thanks for listening. Be sure to share with anyone you think would be interested!
29 SEP 2020 · This episode we dive into creation and discuss different factors regarding it such as Pangea, dinosaurs, and the age of the Earth. There are things christians argue about that we have no reason to worry over seeing as we have no proof of many things. All we need to do is read the scripture and trust in what God has told us. Hopefully we have discussed some things that you haven’t thought about. We use the video on the Cross Examined channel entitled “Why Science and Genesis don’t Contradict” Link is here https://youtu.be/LgP5hisFSCA
22 SEP 2020 · This episode we discuss how something being legal does not make it moral. Again we hit on the topic of God being the standard for morality and choosing not to use God as the bar for morality does not cut it. We cannot have a standard for morality from anyone except God! Any athiestic argument relies on subjective morality And not on the true objective morality of God’s law. There are many laws that exist that are immoral such as abortion, gay marriage, various drugs, etc. there are also illegal things that are morally right in certain situations. Let us rely on the Lord and pray for those who are lost and let us ourselves follow in the footsteps of our Savior Jesus Christ and help and forgive one another as he did for us. May our Heavenly Father bless all of you and thank you all for listening. Please share our podcast with anyone you know who might be interested. ( I believe I let a curse word slip in so please forgive my language). Here is the link to the video https://youtu.be/v7SskpZKtjE “Subjective Morality vs Objective Morality” by the Cross Examined channel.
15 SEP 2020 · Hello! In this episode we talk about each of the 7 deadly sins and the ways to overcome them. We all struggle with sin and by grace and faith the Lord comes for us. Let us all pray for one another and ask for help in hard and trying times. We must use the word of God to help us and guide us on the path he has set for each of us. We tried to bring some examples in our lives and in todays society to show how rampant each of these sins is. No video this time but we hope you enjoyed our commentary and please try the neighbor excercise that we spoke on during this video as we can all help those around us and be a light to the lost and lead them to Christ. God bless you all and please let us pray for all of those in states with raging fires as well as for those around the riots. 7 SEP 2020 · In this episode we chose a topic that is controversial and seems hateful. But it is out of love that we talk on this subject and on the many many people that are lost out there that haven’t been able to accept the true Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God. We outline the difference in beliefs between mormons and christians and point out what beliefs are clearly false and blasphemous against the one true living God. Please pray and have discussion with any mormon you may know as many claim to be christians but sadly they believe in a different Jesus. Please share this and reach out to the lost and if you are interested in hearing more scripture that detests mormon beliefs check out Apologia Studios. The video title is “Mormon Tells Durbin to Repent” link is here https://youtu.be/d-xjSJKZbPQ . Before this episode was uploaded a fire broke out in the Bridger Mountain Range and many people had to evacuate and homes are being lost. Please pray for them and for the brave people fighting these fires! May god bless them and all of you, may peace be with you all.
