Adding to God's pleasure was a deeply satisfying delight for Jesus; therefore, it should also be our experience. But what convictions operate to narrow our path into His perfect plans and purposes for us, including our romantic desires? It was God's convictions that led me into my now marriage while transforming me further into His image as we walked together.

If you think you're somehow disqualified from hearing His voice for the important decisions in your life, then revisit your salvation experience. While you were yet a sinner, separated from God, He spoke to you in a way you knew He was real, forgiving, and loving. So much so that you said yes to more than you first imagined or understood. If giving your life over to an invisible Savior was the most important decision of your life, how much more can you expect to hear Him concerning the second most "turning your life over" decision of your life?

14 APR 2024 · Is there the "one"? There can be. I discuss God's providence in romantic love and His foreknowledge of our will. He fits all things together into a plan to progressively conform us to the image of Jesus. He knew before time began where we would make choices with Him and without Him, and He preplanned His grace to meet us in both. He is the God of the "one" for all who would dare to believe it.
