12 MAY 2021 · Hey Guys! Mikey here. Thank you for clicking in! Sorry for the delay with the videos. Life happens, you know how it be. I was really excited to do another episode of Who Wants To Be A Scene Kid because it's been too long!! I'm even more stoked because it's with my cousin, the neon legend, Marky Capicotto, owner of Glamour Kills Clothing. Marky has birthed the neon era and clothed just about every big scene band from back in the day. I have always looked up to him and the culture he created around Glamour Kills has shaped me to who I am today. I was stoked to test his knowledge. Lot's of good stories in this episode so you're going to want to stick around for the WHOLE episode. Also, Gunz from the Gunz show makes an appearance. Enjoy guys! 😎
Did you know that only 5% of my viewers are subscribed to my channel? Crazy! Please help support by liking this video, subscribing to the channel, and letting me know your favorite memory of Glamour Kills in the comment section!
12 MAY 2021 · Hello! Mikey here. Okay so, you guys already know I did the Sam Pura interview. Y'all already know I did the Heavy Heavy Low Low reunion interview. Today, I present to you the trifecta....the Bone Cutter interview! I am happy to call these dudes my friends and I am insanely proud of them for their new Bone Cutter EP. This interview was a lot of fun. The best part about the Heavy extended universe is that each member is uniquely interesting in their own right. I recommend following all of these dudes on social media if you enjoy having a good time. Links below.
Anywhose, "Bone Cutter formed from the scattered pieces of heavyheavylowlow, cosmically glued together through time, space and place by the squirming hands of Sam Pura of The Panda Studios. The result is a shining knife of punk rock fury reflecting the flickering stars of grind, pop and metal." So to answer your question...no, Bone Cutter does not include Danny Rankin, Matthew Caudle, or Chip Madden. The lineup consists of Robbie Smith, Sam Pura, Andrew Fritter, and Chris Fritter. What makes their debut EP so special is that the instrumentals were recorded back in 2011. So this record literally is a blast from the past. It wasn't until this year that Robbie recorded his vocal parts. We talk all things Bone Cutter related and even discuss some Heavy lore. I hope you guys enjoy the content!

7 APR 2021 · Hello friend! Thank you so much for clicking into my video! If you came here to learn about the music career of With The Punches, then you're in luck! I know that I haven't done too many interviews with pop punk bands on my channel which is funny because I would definitely consider myself a pop punk kid. Expect me to do more interviews with bands from this era because I really want to shine a light on the tumblr-core era!
With The Punches have always been one of my favorite pop punk bands growing up. I noticed they didn't have many interviews uploaded on YouTube so I reached out so we can document the history of their band. They were a band that I feel deserved more credit. Both of their ep's and their full length is pop punk GOLD. If you search live videos of them, it looked like they played huge shows and they've toured around the country with big bands like Mayday Parade and Neck Deep. They did everything themselves DIY which is why I'm guessing they never hit that next level as a band. Never the less, they can rock a gig and those who remember them know how great of a band they were. Enjoy the interview!
Fun Fact! 90% of my viewers aren't subscribed. So please help me out! I am trying to hit 1k followers! 🥺

25 MAR 2021 · Hello everyone! Thank you for clicking into my video! Mikl Shea and PHATJ are members of a CRUNKCORE group called Brokencyde. They are pioneers of the genre and influence many artists today. Brokencyde were so ahead of the curve that people didn't understand them at the time. Because of this, they received a lot of hate and death threats for the music they made. Even with all of the hate, they still had tight fan base and did great numbers. The overall message of their music is to be yourself and to have a fun time. I am so thankful Mikl and PHATJ sat down to talk to me. We went over the history of their music career in depth. I hope you enjoy this interview!

16 FEB 2021 · Hey Guys! Long time since we did an IN PERSON podcast episode with a LOCAL artist! Tyler and Jake of Promise Breaker were kind enough to drive two hours over to our moon base studio and do an interview. This interview was originally used as content for Famfest Online 2021 virtual festival back January 16th. It was so much fun to be apart of that. Thank you Dom Stone for having us on!
Tyler and Jake play some kings with me and Besos, they tell us about the formation of the band, their patreon, lyrical content, how they come up with the artwork, and what's to come for the band!

25 JAN 2021 · Hello friend! Welcome/welcome back to our channel! I really appreciate you clicking into this video because if you're a fan of SYSC and Connie Sgarbossa, then you're in for a treat. There are several kick ass interviews with Connie out right now (like the Punk Rock MBA and Lambgoat). I recommend you checking those out (after this one of course :P). I tried really hard to come up with new questions and go through the history of Connie's musical career up to this point to differentiate this interview from the previous ones. There is some deep cut information that I think you would be excited to hear about! We talk about several of Connie's earlier bands such as Avari, Flowers Taped To Pens, Meryl Streaker, René Descartes. We also chat about her record label, Structures//Agony Records, that she ran out of her apartment's living room. We went deep into why she thinks it's crucial for bands to focus on their branding when releasing a new project. Lastly, we chat about the new music SeeYouSpaceCowboy has been working during quarantine. So sit back, put on your white belt, grab a setzy, and prepare to get sassy!
PS - I had trouble exporting this video through zoom. Any help would be appreciated. This is all done DIY so go easy on me and enjoy the content for what it is!
