3 JUL 2020 · So many feels...
It was great to be back in the saddle. We had not recorded in over 6 weeks. Between a refocus on equality and Black Lives Matter, COVID-19 , full time work, and trying to get YouTube set up, we really had a lot of stuff to chat about. Though we chose to focus on the former of the two topics in the first two segments. And of course the drinks get their time too, DUH!
Here is what we drank this episode:

We would be remised if we did not put in a word or two about the content that we discussed while drinking in this video. This podcast truly has more weight that we usually get into, but honestly, it felt great.
Black Lives Matter is something Greg and I feel adamant about. And it's really not open to much debate to us. Systemic racism is not tolerable anymore. PERIOD!
COVID-19... well its a reality as this video is posted. Our feelings... its such a little thing to wear a mask when in public to protect others when asked to by either the local business who is trying operate according mandates in place (right, wrong or indifferent), or, more importantly, another human being. If you don't have enough respect to do that, you shouldn't be out in public to begin with... it's basic human decency. Clearly, folks have pointed out exceptional cases, but that's the point, they are exceptional, not the rule. Don't feign being in an exceptional case if you are not, it just further proves how much of an a$$hat you are being.
Greg and Nate (aka The Show Idiot)
P.S. Things I learned in the production of this particular video:
- Syncing audio is an art, not a science. This video is not perfect, and it annoys me. I'm very sorry.
- Check your output resolution when hitting record. 720p is great, but not when you have 1080p at the press of three button clicks.
- Spell check, spell check. I did so FOUR times, and I still probably jacked something up.
- LET IT RIP! Perfection can be the enemy of progress.
All comments on the content of the video, beverages, content, or video production welcome!!!
