12 SEP 2026 · At only 12 years old, Timothy Dale Allen found himself living in the streets. By 16, he had begun experimenting with harder drugs. While working at KFC, an unexpected encounter with a military recruiter helped send his life in a completely different direction.
At 19, Timothy joined the National Guard. He was eventually sent overseas, where he experienced the realities of combat firsthand. But when he returned home, the weight of what he had witnessed followed him. Struggling with PTSD, Timothy fell deeper into addiction and eventually began using drugs intravenously.
His addiction cost him years of his life and precious time with his family. Timothy had a son he did not see during the first 15 years of his life because of how deeply trapped he had become. Yet even in the darkest moments, Timothy says Jesus never stopped calling him.
Today, Timothy is sober, serving as a pastor, rebuilding his relationship with his son & sharing his testimony with anyone willing to listen. He still lives with PTSD, but he has learned to manage it by putting God first and allowing his pain to become part of his purpose.
This episode is an honest conversation about childhood trauma, military service, combat, addiction, fatherhood, PTSD, redemption & the relentless grace of God.
If Timothy’s story speaks to you, share this episode with someone who may feel like they are too far gone. Your past may explain where you have been, but through Jesus, it does not have to determine where your story ends.

17 AUG 2026 · There is a difference between telling the story of someone you loved through addiction and finally being given the opportunity to tell your own.
Michelle Clifton has previously shared pieces of what her family endured during BJ's years of addiction, but those experiences represent only one chapter of a much larger testimony. In this episode of The Testimony, Michelle shares her story in full. She reflects on the years she spent working as a truck driver, often away from home and unaware of just how deeply addiction had taken hold of her husband.
Having never experienced addiction herself, Michelle was forced to learn what it meant to love someone whose decisions, substance use, and lifestyle were creating consequences she could neither control nor fully understand.
As the reality of BJ's addiction became impossible to ignore, Michelle found herself navigating circumstances no spouse expects to face. Their marriage endured instability, broken trust, fear, and physical abuse as addiction continued to change the man she loved. Her testimony does not minimize those experiences or pretend that faith made difficult circumstances easy. Instead, Michelle speaks from the perspective of someone who lived through them, survived them, and eventually witnessed a life and family begin to change.
At the center of her story is a question many families affected by addiction understand: how do you continue loving someone when you cannot understand the battle happening inside of them? Michelle's journey required perseverance, difficult choices, forgiveness, and a faith that had to become stronger than the circumstances surrounding her. Over time, she witnessed BJ take responsibility for his past, pursue recovery, and become present for a family that addiction had once pushed away. Michelle's testimony is ultimately her own.
It is the story of a woman who endured painful seasons without allowing them to define the remainder of her life, a wife who witnessed the difference between promises of change and genuine transformation, and a believer whose faith in Jesus became the foundation upon which healing and restoration could begin.
The Clifton family's past cannot be rewritten, but their lives today demonstrate that the past does not have to dictate what comes next. Michelle's story reminds us that restoration does not erase what happened. It shows us what can happen afterward.

10 AUG 2026 · This week on The Testimony, Dion, one of the hosts of the Scriptures Revealed Podcast, sits on the other side of the microphone and shares a part of his life that many people listening to him today may never have known. After the loss of his daughter, Dion found himself in an incredibly dark place.
He was grieving, angry, and struggling to understand how a good God could allow someone he loved so deeply. An amazing child with so much life ahead of her, just to be taken away. Those questions began affecting more than his relationship with the church. Dion started questioning his faith, questioning God, and eventually questioning whether he even wanted to continue living.
At his lowest point, he found himself with a *** in his mouth. But that moment wasn't the end of Dion's story.
In this episode, he talks about what happened in those darkest seasons, stepping away from the church, wrestling with God through grief, and eventually finding his way forward. He also shares how he nearly walked away from podcasting before beginning to recognize that God was using his voice and his story to reach people who needed to hear it.
Today, Dion sits alongside Tim and Pastor Shane on Scriptures Revealed, breaking down Scripture and having conversations about the same faith he once found himself questioning.
And that's what makes this three-part series so special. Dion's story is only the beginning. Over the next couple of weeks, you'll hear Tim and Shane's testimonies as well. And begin to see how three separate lives, with three very different journeys, were eventually placed in one another's paths. Sometimes a testimony isn't the story of never questioning God. Sometimes it's the story of questioning everything, and discovering that God still meets you there. 💜🎙️

27 JUL 2026 · In this follow-up conversation, BJ Clifton returns alongside lifelong friend Jeremy Taylor to reflect on a journey that spans decades of friendship, addiction, recovery, faith, and redemption.
Growing up together in Mississippi County, the two share stories from their younger years, the culture that shaped them, the choices that nearly changed everything, and the hope they eventually found through recovery and their relationship with Christ.
Throughout the episode, we discuss the realities of recovery, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, and why no one should ever be defined by the worst chapter of their life.
We also address some of the criticism surrounding the future recovery facility coming to our area and why we believe helping people overcome addiction should never become a divisive issue. At the heart of the conversation is a simple reminder: every person deserves the opportunity to change, and every community benefits when lives are restored.
At The Testimony, our mission has never been to glorify someone's lowest moment. Our goal is to share authentic stories that encourage others, strengthen families, and point people toward hope.
Whether you're walking through recovery yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply looking for an honest conversation about faith, friendship, and second chances, we pray this episode leaves you encouraged.

19 JUL 2026 · Wife & Daughters Perspective -
Addiction is often remembered through the decisions of the person caught in its grip, but its impact extends far beyond a single life.
It reshapes families, tests marriages, changes childhoods, and leaves every person connected to it carrying a different part of the same story. In this special episode of The Testimony, Michelle and Kayla Clifton share their perspectives on the years that addiction held their family captive and the restoration that followed.
Michelle reflects on loving her husband through seasons marked by fear, uncertainty, and hardship while choosing to hold on to faith when there seemed to be little reason to believe a different future was possible.
Kayla shares what it was like growing up with a father whose addiction, incarceration, and involvement in the drug trade kept him from being present during much of her childhood, leaving her to navigate two very different worlds while hoping for the relationship she longed to have.
Together, their stories reveal that addiction is never confined to the individual. It reaches spouses, children, parents, and every relationship surrounding it, leaving behind wounds that cannot always be seen.
At the same time, their testimony demonstrates that recovery is about far more than achieving sobriety. It is the ongoing work of rebuilding trust, restoring relationships, accepting responsibility for the past, and allowing healing to take root where brokenness once defined a family. This conversation is not simply about addiction or recovery.
It is about the resilience of a wife who refused to let hardship determine her future, the perspective of a daughter learning to know the father addiction once kept at a distance, and the transforming power of redemption when a family is given the opportunity to begin again.
Whether you have walked through addiction yourself or have loved someone who has, we hope this episode serves as a reminder that while the consequences of addiction can reach every corner of a family, hope and restoration can as well.

6 JUL 2026 · Some conversations stay on the surface. Others invite you down the rabbit hole.
This episode is unlike any we've done before.
For this first interview, we sit down for a call with James, the creator of Plunder World Cards, steps into the spotlight to share not only his passion for conspiracy, history, and mystery, but the story that brought him there. It's a conversation about faith, purpose, curiosity, and what happens when you stop asking, "What if I fail?" and start asking, "What if this is what I was created to do?"
Together, we explore his walk with God, the moments that shaped his worldview, thought-provoking discussions about the church, the removed books, hidden history, and the questions that continue to inspire his research. Along the way, James shares some of the books that have influenced him the most, we crack open a few packs of Plunder World Cards, and discover why this unique card game is capturing attention across the country.
But beneath every conspiracy, every historical mystery, and every card pull is a much bigger story. This is the story of someone who dared to chase a dream.
At The Testimony, we believe God gives every person unique gifts. Sometimes those gifts look like a pulpit. Sometimes they look like a microphone. Sometimes they look like a deck of cards that sparks conversations people might never have had otherwise. Creativity has a purpose. Curiosity has a place.
Passion has the power to inspire. James will also be appearing at TrutherCon, where he'll be sharing his passion with thousands of people who love exploring history, mysteries, and the unexplained. If you'd like to support James and everything he's building, check out Plunder World Cards using the promo code in this video's description.
Every purchase using our code helps support both James and The Testimony as we continue telling stories that encourage people to pursue the gifts God has placed in their lives.
Whether you came for the testimony, the faith discussion, the rabbit holes, or simply to watch a few card pulls, we hope this conversation leaves you inspired to chase your own calling with the same passion James has pursued his. Because sometimes the greatest testimony isn't just where you've been.
It's having the courage to become who you were created to be.

23 JUN 2026 · I hands down believe a revival is coming to Mississippi County & it’s going to begin through Recovery ministries. Every time we sit down to hear another testimony, it’s just another sign that there is a major faith movement coming!
Sat down with Bobby J Clifton today to film his testimony & some pieces for the documentary. Listening to him share his vision for the future, truly feels like recovery is unstoppable. His desire to help people find recovery, discover the Lord, & bring hope to families here in the County is something special.
What really gave me chills though, was an unexpected moment.
We got on the subject of the Old Bassett Church, & at that time Pastor England stopped by. (He used to be the pastor there) BJ invited him in, and as Pastor began sharing stories & speaking from his heart, I couldn’t help but smile.
He was saying exactly what God has been placing on my heart for nearly two years. Man those moments when you know the Holy Spirit is in the room are hard to explain, but they’re impossible to forget.
I genuinely believe this is the beginning of something special. Mississippi County won’t be known for addiction anymore. It’ll be known for recovery!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
