30 SEP 2024 · Jamie Carragher and former Chelsea manager Graham Potter join Dave Jones in the MNF studio to look back at Bournemouth’s 3-1 win over local rivals Southampton.
The victory lifts the Cherries up to 11th and we hear from their player-of-the-match and goal scorer Antoine Semenyo.
Southampton boss Russell Martin also joins us for a brutally honest interview, after seeing his side 3-0 down at half time.
Plus, Potter discusses his managerial career to date, from University coach, to moving to Sweden, onto Brighton, and the Champions League with Chelsea – but where next?
29 SEP 2024 · Kelly Cates presents Super Sunday from Old Trafford and is joined by Jamie Redknapp, Darren Bent and Ashley Young who watched Tottenham comprehensively beat Manchester United 3-0. Gary Neville watched from the gantry as Spurs impressed and outclassed their opponents from the very start but United aided them with a lacklustre performance. Neville labelled the display as a ‘shocking and sobering day’ for the club. Redknapp agreed and believes Man United’s progression is going backwards, going on to say that ‘they’re at rock bottom at the moment’.
The hosts' task was made even more difficult when Bruno Fernandes was dismissed for a high challenge on James Maddison minutes before half-time. The Red Devils captain spoke after the match and felt the tackle did not warrant a red card by referee Chris Kavanagh but admitted that he had let his teammates down.
There is also reaction from goalscorer Brennan Johnson and player of the match Micky van de Ven, as well as both managers. Ange Postecoglou hailed his players’ performance, saying that they were a ‘joy to watch’. In contrast, Erik ten Hag conceded that Tottenham were the dominant side and his team were poor in possession. The United manager also avoided questions on whether the club is moving forward under his leadership, saying that 'it is not the time to talk about progression after such a defeat'.
28 SEP 2024 · Izzy Christiansen and Jamie Redknapp analyse the SNF clash between Wolves and Liverpool as Arne Slot’s men moved to the top of the Premier League table. Redknapp thinks Liverpool were not at their best but win key in the season.
26 SEP 2024 · Comedian and host of Sky's 'How Long Ref?' pod, Andrew Mensah, is the latest famous face to join Josh Hayward in The Football Museum.
Andrew explains why he and his little Renault Twingo are the reason behind cousin Ebere Eze's rise to stardom. He compares a Luis Suarez goal to World War 3, and have Charlton really not been the same since a very famous Robin van Persie moment?
