This podcast will give my perspective on the intersectionality of black lesbians in today's society. I want to create a space where black gay girls, like myself, can feel free to express themselves, discuss related topics, and, also, highlight our overall dopeness. I am proud to offer this podcast as a way to uplift, validate, and promote black gay girls everywhere who are creative, positive, and super lit, but often overlooked. Please listen, let me know your thoughts, & continue to support! Much love, YoitsMo!

16 NOV 2019 · Why are black girls so loud? It's a question I've had many times before, so I wanted to talk about it in this episode of The Mix of Black Girl Magic Podcast. I strongly feel that we are not all loud, and/or allowed to be loud. In this episode, I talk about how the volume with which I speak can sometimes be seen as both a blessing and a curse. If you can relate or have ever been told you were being too loud, then this episode is for you. Of course, my feelings are expressed in relation to the black lesbian community. Please feel free to contact me on Instagram or Twitter: @yoitsmolive to continue the discussion. Thank you for listening & I hope you enjoy! *You may want to turn down your volume* :P

23 OCT 2019 · In this episode, I wanted to discuss some of the current events I've seen or heard about lately. This episode has a lot of new name bombs, and old ones, as well. Today's media, culture, and headlines are filled with societal issues, but who is there to advocate for the black lesbian girl in it all, well, I am of course! Hope you all enjoy this episode as you have the lasts! Thank you for listening! Reaffirm or reassure a dope, especially lesbian, black girl sometime, it feels amazing! :)

1 OCT 2019 · This episode really focuses on the term intersectionality. I wanted to discuss the meaning and the history of the term, but as always I have to relate to things I deal with everyday, while being dope and beautifully mixed with #BGM. Enjoy and support for more dope content!!

30 JUL 2019 · This podcast episode is devoted to the invalidation that black girls often experience.
I am speaking from my position and experience identifying as a lesbian black girl/woman. The fact that LGBT AA people are often misjudged, under represented, or simply ignored is not a topic that I don't hear discussed frequently. So, let's talk about it. Please feel free to listen, comment, & share this podcast if you or someone you know can relate.
