1 NOV 2024 · A red flag for Trump. Early voting data and polling in Pennsylvania shows the senior vote leaning in favor of Harris. According to Politico, voters over the age of 65 have cast nearly half of the early ballots in Pennsylvania and registered Democrats account for about 58 percent of votes cast by seniors, compared to 35 percent for Republicans. we will dig into the numbers to find out what’s happening. We start the show talking politics with TYTs Cenk Uyger and Michael Shure. Friday Fabulous Florida brings machetes and gators! It’s like they make the news just to please us. Political analysts say that’s because the more Vice President Harris has to respond to issues like Puerto Rico, the less time she gets to hammer home her message. This election cycle, legal maneuvering over voter rolls is a big concern. There is also a move not to allow federal election monitors in polling places. We welcome former federal prosecutor, now defense attorney, David Katz to the show to discuss that, plus the recent developments in the Menendez brothers case.

30 OCT 2024 · An estimated 70,000 people gathered at the ellipse in Washington, D.C. to watch Vice President Kamala Harris make her closing argument to American voters. She talked about democracy, supporting allies, lifting up the middle class, the economy, reproductive rights and much more. She also touched on the formation of the United States saying. “we wrested freedom from a petty tyrant.” She talked about wars, sacrifice, civil rights struggles and the way that Americans have fought to preserve liberty. “They did not struggle, sacrifice and lay down their lives, only to see us cede our fundamental freedoms, only to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant.” Trump appeared at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania where he reiterated many of the negative messages of his campaign. He did single out Catholics telling them he would be their protector. He also says he’ll be a protecting women, despite having bragged about taking away women’s reproductive rights. Trump also promised voters that America would have a shield or dome over the country for protection. We’ll talk politics with presidential historian and political analyst John Rothmann.

29 OCT 2024 · Just in time for the election, here comes Steve Bannon. The MAGA instigator is being released from prison today. He served nearly four-months for ignoring a subpoena in the congressional investigation of the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Bannon is expected to appear on CNN, hold a press conference and resume his podcast with hours of being freed. This is not the end of Bannon’s legal troubles. In December, he’s expected to face charges in New York state court for allegedly swindling donors out of money they thought would be used to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Pulitzer Prize winning author and investigative journalist David Cay Johnston will join us to discuss Bannon’s release and the upcoming election.

28 OCT 2024 · Trump's Madison Square Garden Rally brought a rare Melania sighting, another strange speech from Elon Musk, an appeal against DEI from Dr. Phil, more Hulk Hogan nonsense and a racist comedian who was so bad, even Trumpers had a hard time laughing at his offensive jokes. Video shows a steady stream of people leaving while Trump spoke. One note: Trump is now promising to build a dome over America.
Trump's appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast was long and meandering. He was allowed to lie again and again unchecked.
Vice President Kamala Harris had a massive rally in Texas that featured Beyonce and Willie Nelson. Meanwhile, Former First Lady Michelle Obama gave a powerful speech in Michigan urging voters to choose Harris saying, ”If we don’t get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother, we as women will become collateral damage to your rage. So are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them you supported this assault on our safety?”

In trying to defend Donald Trump, Hannity said Harris struggles to speak in public and that she hast to give word salads because she can’t say how she really feels. Smith called Hannity out: 'I know you're not talking about someone being lucid and cogent, and enunciating their thoughts with clarity, and you're bragging about Donald Trump,' 'We can't be watching the same stuff if that's what you're doing. 24 OCT 2024 · Tucker Carlson was on stage with Trump at a rally in Georgia last night and it got weird. Carlson, in what was at best a completely misogynistic rant and at worst pervy and abusive, slammed Vice President Kamala Harris and then said “dad” was coming home to deliver punishment. Of Daddy Trump, Carlson said, “He’s pissed! Dad is pissed. … And when dad gets home, you know what he says? ‘You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl, and you’re getting a vigorous spanking right now.’” It went on from there, and by the time Trump took the stage, the angry crowd was yelling “Daddy’s Home!” We are so excited to welcome Leigh McGowan. You might know her as #politicsgirl. She has a successful TikTok platform where she stands in her kitchen and discusses politics. McGowan has a new book that just came out. It’s called “A Return to Common Sense: How to Fix America Before We Really Blow It.” The book is great and this conversation is so good! We have some questions about Donald Trump’s election interference, cases, Rudy Giuliani’s asset forfeiture and the horrifying possibility that Judge Cannon could be the next U.S. Attorney General should Trump get back into the White House. 23 OCT 2024 · Perhaps Donald Trump has had a lot of time to reflect after the two attempts on his life during this campaign. Perhaps he really caught religion or perhaps he was just trying to play to the Christian voters he was in front of when he said he was chosen by a “supernatural hand” inferring that God selected him. He also told the group of conservative pastors at the 11th Hour Faith Leaders Meeting, “I would like to think that God saved me for a reason.” He still managed to pull out some fear mongering saying the liberal left was out to get Christians and that they would “suffer greatly.” Perhaps if God was really going to send someone to lead us, the person would be more kind, wise and selfless…the opposite of Trump. We will discuss it with presidential historian and political analyst John Rothmann. A comet is streaking through the sky and a rocket ship is headed to explore the icy moons of a nearby planet. Trump’s Bad Economic Plan - a Path to Quick Social Security Insolvency, David Cay Johnston, 10/22/24
22 OCT 2024 · If Donald Trump is allowed to move forward with his plan for the economy, nonpartisan budget watchdog group “The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget” says it would push Social Security to insolvency three years earlier than expected and would cut benefits by nearly a third. Between Trump’s plans for mass deportations, tariffs and tax cuts, the Social Security program’s trust fund would dry up by 2031 unless Congress refunds it. While Social Security is in trouble, Trump’s plan would hasten its demise.
We’ll run it past Pulitzer Prize winning author and investigative journalist David Cay Johnston.

21 OCT 2024 · Trump seems to be having more serious mental issues. Over the weekend at a rally, he referred to the late golfer Arnold Palmer’s penis size. He’s also sticking to his nonsensical lie that Kamala Harris never worked at McDonald’s and showed up to work at a McDonald’s cooking up french fries. Last week, he decided to play music at a town hall event and sway back and forth rather than take questions. Add to that his recent disrespect of auto workers, comparing the work they do to child’s play, insulting Detroit in front of room full of Detroiters and while standing in California, threatening to withhold wildfire aid. It may be these “off the rails “type of appearances that have his staff canceling some pretty major interviews. He will appear on Fox & Friends, but he is checking out of other big media opportunities. Though he seems to be imploding, the polls are still showing a presidential race that is just about neck and neck.
We will see what CBS television and iHeartRadio political analyst Gary Dietrich thinks about all of that.
Author and journalist Greg Palast will join us to talk about voter suppression. His film “Vigilantes Inc.: America's vote suppression hitmen” is a must see.
