14 MAY 2021 · In this content packed episode, Mr. Boudreau is joined by several enthusiastic student and teacher readers as we discuss some of the books we've been reading this month. First up we hear from a couple of Lougheed Students who absolutely love the Chris Colfer series _The Land of Stories_. Next we talk about a great quick read called _Trapped in a Video Game_ by Dustin Brady. Mr. Boudreau talks about _Ember and the Ice Dragons_, the Silver Birch nominated fantasy novel written by Heather Fawcett, followed by a commentary by one of our Grade 8 grads about a classic Victorian novel, _3 Men in a Boat_ written by British author, Jerome K. Jerome. Finally, author Eric Walters joins our panel, made up of Grade 7 teacher Ms. Swan, as well as enthusiastic student readers, to discuss his latest book _Don't Stand so Close to Me_ , a story about three teens struggling to cope with quarantine during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
