First, we talk to Georgia, Adalyn's mom, who shares the heart-wrenching story of Adalyn's cancer diagnosis at just 3 years old. She provides a touching insight into Adalyn's resilience and what it's like to parent a child battling cancer. In the second half, we meet with Brooke, Ainsley's mom. Brooke discusses Ainsley's lifelong battle with seizures and cerebral palsy, her hemispherectomy at the age of four, and the hardships and triumphs along the way. She also shares heartwarming stories about Ainsley's role as a 10 year old big sister and explains how a service dog will significantly enhance her quality of life. This episode offers a powerful look into the lives of two remarkable families, the strength of their children, and why we decided to make them this year’s beneficiaries. • Ep. 18: Mark Harrington

25 MAR 2024 · I met Mark when I was 15 when I walked into his business and asked for a job. He said he didn't need any help at the time but I kept coming back because I had a few friends working there there and thought it would be a fun summer working with them. He finally hired me and what I got was an education in so many things that I still lean on today. We have Mark tell his story as only he can. He has always done things his own way, while still figuring out how to play in the sandbox with others. In today's landscape, it was pretty cool to listen to how he navigated life to now.
