A very special episode with rally simulator legend, Sim Vansevenant/ SRD_Flatout/Sim’s Racing!
We get to know Sim a little and about his background and how he got into rally. We talk about his DR2.0 driving, his livery making (with a humble revelation later on in the episode), and his high-production values as a YouTuber making videos about rally games.
We talk a lot about what is known, what we want to see and what we speculate with the new EA Sports WRC game, to be released in November 2023.
This transitions us into talking about the new game and what GRF’s plans are to integrate the as yet sight-unseen game into the GRF clubs, while also not alienating those who are slower to migrate away from DR2.0.
Towards the end of the show, Sim tells us about his experience as a semi-finalist in the DR 2.0 World Series in 2021. We touch on the perils of burning out, when our hobby begins to take up too much of our time and is not fun any more.
Finally, we do our shout-outs and sign off.

25 JUL 2023 · Joe's IRL friend and GRF driver, Jesse (Ghoti/Ghotisnax), joins the crew as a guest. Shinyo and Denis are with us too. We get to know Ghoti a bit and find out why his name is pronounced "Fish". Shinyo tells us about his psychological warfare campaign to brainwash his family into thinking they're the ones who want to get a cat. We do a brief rundown of the clubs and what's going on. Excitement over the new Expert Historic season, which goes 4WD (Group B) for the first time. And Denis tells us about the new Summer Championship in the regular club.

Then we agree and disagree about Porsches, before doing a half-assed run-down of the state of things in each of the clubs. Joe makes excuses for not winning a recent event and Dennis says he'll drive the Sierra in the Special Event because he's a Ford fanboy. In truth, it's all filler and we need shinyo back to give us real data to talk about when it comes to the GRF Clubs! There will be a new episode soon to make up for it.
