Her research in the biological foundations of eating disorders is unique and can guide our conversations around physiatric illness in a new, more productive direction. On the show, we discuss how society affects mental illness, misconceptions surrounding eating disorders (and how that affects how we treat them!), the biological basis for eating disorders, and so much more.
