Every year we host an annual church and ministry-wide time of rest. We believe that God calls us to serve and fulfill His great work. We also know that He calls us to come away and find rest in Jesus.
This will be a special time of prayer, fasting, journaling, and growing in an intimate relationship with Jesus. It will also be a time to focus on caring for ourselves as well as strengthening family relationships and friendships through the ministry of presence.
Jesus has left us the most comforting gift of all - Peace, as stated in John 14:27. No matter how chaotic the situation may be, Peace helps us stay calm, hopeful, and faithful. It is the inheritance and legacy that Jesus left us. What his peace looks like is Him facing the cross with confident assurance, knowing that His death would make salvation available for all mankind. Have you received Jesus’ gift of peace?
Throughout this month, we'll explore this gift and legacy of peace that "surpasses all understanding". Learning to live in this grace daily.

24 SEP 2023 · The theme for this year’s SOLACE Rest is, “PEACE IN”. Peace is a place. It’s a location we go to when chaos and unrest is all around us. The question comes to mind, where do you go or who or what do you turn to when you seek peace? We’ve talked about finding peace in God’s promises and in His presence. Today we are going to talk briefly about being at peace in the PRAYER.
There are many more Scriptures that will encourage you to PRAY and REST. Take a moment and search them out. Hold them tightly and be at PEACE in the PRAYER.
