We also discuss some of the news that has broken this week including the return of the Hong Kong Open and concerns over the upcoming Middle East events after Matt Fitzpatrick and Robert MacIntyre both expressed security concerns. 14 SEP 2026 · It was another glorious weekend of golf in Europe and two dream results, as Shane Lowry romped to his second Irish Open title and Europe won a thrilling Solheim Cup. We're on hand to pick apart both storylines including Lowry's comments on Saturday and how Europe made the USA pay for early celebrations. After that the news segment includes some fighting which could even have Ryder Cup implications ahead of an upcoming scouting mission, before we get into the LIV bankruptcy filing and some vital details which suggest the future '2.0' version may struggle to make it past mid-October. 31 AUG 2026 · It was another win for the podcast (sort of) as Joe Dean, one of those we spoke to prior to the British Masters, only went and won the thing. We begin with that plus notes on some contenders at the Belfry, before paying tribute to Scottie Scheffler's tour de force at East Lake where Viktor Hovland came up short. In the latest news recap we talk about Good Good's bad bad week, some updates for both the men's and women's TGL, and where we are with LIV Golf after job losses and reports of an imminent bankruptcy fiilng. The new format for the Tour Championship gets the thumbs up, but it would be fair to say we were less sure of just why one Presidents Cup vice captain got the nod.
