9 JUN 2017 · Episode 51: NWA Pride Week!
A little bit different show tonight. We kick off things by reviewing a really cheap beer: Rockdale Classic from Rockdale Brewing Co. in La Grosse, WI ($4.28 at Walmart). The beer is decent, better than most American Adjunct Lagers, but not great by any stretch of the imagination. The Brewpub gives it 4.5 beers out of a 6 pack. Then Brother Brewer jumps into a review of the upcoming bestseller by Dana Fredsti, Spawn of Lilith. No spoilers, but it is a very good book and I highly recommend it once it releases on June 27th. (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-spawn-of-lilith-dana-fredsti/1125283340).
After we get the reviews out of the way, the Pub opens to Kate Johnson. Kate is heading up the plans for this year’s NWA Pride Festival in Fayetteville, AR. We talk about some of the exciting events coming up, the parade itself, and a little bit about the NWA Center for Equality, a great bunch of people that are dedicated to LGBT equality and inclusion in and around Walmart Mecca. (NWA Center for Equality: http://nwaequality.org/ Northwest Arkansas Pride 2017 schedule of events: http://nwaequality.org/nwapride/).

This episode also includes an apology for not being on the air consistently over the past month. I hope I can do better in the future.

4 MAY 2017 · I was going to be joined by the Atheist Nomads, Dustin, Lauren, and Wesley. Unfortunately, Walmart Mecca had a second annual "100 Year Flood" over the weekend and had to reschedule. A combination of this seemingly recurring pattern, a Facebook discussion, and conversations with my believing family brought up this instead.
