Errant Sound will host the Radio That Matters kick-off meeting, an initial partner meeting to start developing a new methodology for a common work to entangle different knowledges, skills and experiences coming from performing arts, sound culture and accessibility practices in the art sector. The meeting will be the occasion for nurturing mutual understanding amongst the partners, for sharing case-studies and analyzing engaged participatory practices connected with local community issues, including reflecting on performative works related to acoustic research, experimental radiophony projects and accessible practices, in order to start defining a common strategy for future activities. The 3-day meeting will also include the RTM Opening Conference with the public seminar led by Brandon LaBelle on Acoustic Justice, and an afternoon symposium designed for workshopping with invited scholars, artists, art institutions developing accessible practices.
