KHQ's Cory Howard sits down for an in-depth interview with Spangle-native, Marine, and author of "Freaks of a Feather: A Marine Grunt's Memoir", Kacy Tellessen.

I sat down with Spokane Police Sergeant Terry Preuninger at the Spokane County courthouse, where most of this past Sunday's peaceful protest took place. We talked about May 31, including the peaceful protest, mentality of law enforcement throughout the day and night, and what led to the looting and riots that night.
We also talked about this upcoming Sunday, June 7. Another peaceful protest is planned, just like May 31... but what needs to be done, so the night of May 31 doesn't happen again? Listen to our full conversation in the podcast below.
