16 AUG 2020 · This week Walker jumps into the fad train and enjoys some slapstick fun in Fall Guys, the new massively multiplayer party game. Brett shares his adventures in completing the story of Earth Defense Force 5, thoughts on his ongoing play through of Hand of Gilgamech and his penchant for destroying gaming mice. Walker gives some final thoughts on the Eisenhorn book trilogy which is set in the Warhammer 40K universe, his Sea of Thieves inspired addiction to sailing and shooting, and his delight with Ori and the Blind Forest.

Walker shares more pirate adventures from Sea of Thieves, progress on Slay the Spire, and initial thoughts on the Ori franchise as well as the RPG Outward. Brett looks at MOTHERGUNSHIP and Carrion which are a couple of titles on his possible purchase list. Finally Brett shares news of the massive recent update to Levelhead from good guy developer Butterscotch Shenanigans.

2 AUG 2020 · This week Brett and Walker share their thoughts and experiences in “SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech” and “Slay the Spire”. While both titles are within the same loosely defined rpg-card battling genre, they both feature unique and interesting experiences. Both offer an innovative single player foray in a game type that is typically dominated by player vs. player games such as Blizzard’s “Hearthstone” or Riot’s “Legends of Runeterra.” Both “SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech” and “Slay the Spire” are terrific games that are worth exploring.
