Laura and Jean agree that it is a "big event" to walk down to the mailbox and get the mail every day. Do you use the daily email USPS Informed Delivery?
We celebrated some family birthdays this month- Laura's twins are 32 years old! Laura is 64 years old, which is mathematically quite exciting for Laura. (And we enjoyed Laura's famous pretzel salad.)
Our fans can probably guess that we discussed many strange and startling Halloween experiences. Colorful pumpkin displays are everywhere and Fall Festivals are delightfully spooky. What is more fun, trick or treating with the kiddos or passing out the candy?

Speaking of gals, an 81-year-old South Korean fashion model fell short in her bid to become the oldest Miss Universe contestant- but she did win the "Best Dresser" award! Well done!
Laura shares her wonderful weekend with her gal pal running team. How did they fair in the Akron Marathon? Well, they opted to skip the running and instead indulge in a spa day, and gourmet dinners. Well done to them!
Laura, our science gal, waxed on about the new "mini-moon", then pumpkin carving and the new "Jelly Donut Blush."

7 AUG 2024 · The OK Boomers were blessed with a wonderful weekend- Laura and Jean are delighted to share it with you. The last weekend in July was part birthday celebration and part family reunion. The guys in the family golfed. The gals and kids splashed in the pool. We all feasted at a fabulous cookout at Laura's home- "The Farm". And the sunny weather was a special gift.
Speaking of celebrations, Jean checked in with our Millennials to learn whether or not office birthdays are still celebrated. Do co-workers still bring a big box of yummy donuts to the break room?
Laura reports on the techniques of eating corn on the cob. She mentions a small family calamity. And sadly, Laura missed a special festival in Chicago.

On with our “exciting” lives. Jean was summoned for jury duty, but did not have to serve. So with that new-found free time, she reorganized her Death Notebook.
Jean also voluntarily shared that she has a special talent involving Dvorak’s New World Symphony and her electric toothbrush.

10 JUL 2024 · Hi friends, we are half-way through 2024! We decided that our favorite podcast conversations so far were when we chatted about our fabulous reversible dresses and our big remodeling projects.
Remember our "Other Halves", a.k.a. "OH's"? Well, they each experienced some zany calamities and "oopsies". A mysterious gas tank, a runaway iPhone, a missing wallet...easy to laugh about now! But bothersome when it happens, right? And it's not just befuddled Boomers, even the millennials had some mishaps recently.
We are finally (finally!)realizing that life is full of calamities and problems- but we just say "Hallelujah Anyway!" and keep going! Jean's OH was the one who told us about the "Hallelujah Anyway!" approach- and it works!
And cheers to our 86 year old friend Wanda for being a trendsetter!
