3 JUL 2021 · S3E18 Independence Day - Freeing yourself from intrusive or unfavorable thoughts can be one of the most liberating, and peaceful things you can experience. I base many of my strategies and points of view from the foundation of looking at things from an unbiased P.O.V.. and that starts with looking at the thoughts we have about ourselves , which can be a hurdle often too high for most to clear.
What if I told you you weren't destined to be bad with money just because you came from poverty. What if you didn't have to have a turbulent love life due to a childhood filled with issues and dysfunction? What if you didnt have to suffer from a "Hereditary Disease" just because your other family members have . Maybe you will maybe you won't, but the bigger picture is understanding the weight these things can carry when your constantly held down and distracted by these thoughts or beliefs.
Letting go of negative thoughts about yourself or viewpoints that are based strictly on your culture can not only be peaceful, but advantageous. Being to rigid with our own thoughts or getting too comfortable with the way we think can often cause us to miss opportunities, and chances that can put us in a better positions in our lives. ( Financially, Spiritually, Physically). So on this episode lets celebrate freeing ourselves from any thoughts and ideas that aren't beneficial to us and those around us.💪🏾🧠💪🏾

15 MAY 2021 · S3E11 L.O.UD Live Out Your Dreams - Life the verb if that is Living. Why is is that so many of us are barely doing that living let alone dreaming? Novelist Anatole Francis said "To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe." For a multitude of reasons we rarely actually enjoy life, let alone seek out to do what our imaginations told most of us we would do as children. Adulthood, responsibility, and life itself are among a few of the reasons a majority never live out their dreams.
I believe there are a multitude of reasons that this happens but ultimately as with most debilitating situations in our life we are always our own biggest culprit when it comes to enemies. When it comes to living out our dreams the antagonist is often our own self, and the fact that many of us simply stop believing, We let our minds tell us "We're to old", or "That opportunity is long gone, and I'll never get a shot like that" or worse of all " I'm just not capable". If this sounds like you don't worry there's a lot of guest at that party , but if your listening to this the thing that makes you different is that that/those dream/s still live within you.
So join me tonight(Now shooting Video) as we get into this and explore more about L.O.U.D or living out your dreams one of the first steps is realizing that sometimes those thoughts in your head, or what the "status quo" is or what the world may tell you is also pretty loud. 💪🏾🧠💪🏾

6 MAR 2021 · S3E1 21 Jump Street- Welcome back to a new episode and season of the Medicine Ball Podcast. It's been awhile, and there's a lot to discuss. In my time away I was able to partake in a 21 day fast which corresponds perfect with the movie. In short 2 cops go undercover to highschool as actual students. This forces them to face some of the things they thought they left behind in their past. During my fast I ran into this same situation having to face things I thought left behind and was past. The idea behind fasting is that you give something up (Something of importance to you) and substitute that thing spending more time getting to know and lean on GOD. For me it allowed to see how much I complained when I really had no REAL reason to. It's easy to shrug that off as normal, but fasting to me opened my eyes to so much more. I lost a younger cousin during this time away as well and not from Covid. She passed in a car accident. This incident, along with fasting tied into this beautiful yet complex puzzle we call life eventually left me more aware and more thankful. On this episode I will reveal things I noticed about myself and seemingly small situations that lead me to being more loving and a little wiser on the other side of it all. 💪🏿🧠💪🏿
