Hey there! My name is Alyssa, and I am the host of the Love Yourself to Health podcast ๐งก
My mission is to teach women how to feel strong and confident in their skin. For too long, women have been taught to be small, to eat less and less and do more and more cardio. And that just creates a cycle of losing weight just to gain it all back again, plus some. Not to mention how detrimental it can be to your mental health. And I am here to tell you that there is a better, much more enjoyable way!
In this podcast, each week I will be teaching you how to feel healthier, get back your energy, and build a lean, toned, feminine physique. We don't do diets here. We focus on creating healthy habits and routines that fit into your lifestyle. There are no good or bad foods, which means yes, you can have your cake, and eat it too!
We'll be going over all things nutrition, fitness, mindset, habits, and living a healthy lifestyle.

DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH WEEKENDS ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
I am such a routine person and I can fall off track so easily when my routine gets thrown off even slightly.
And of course, weekends are going to be the biggest recurring thing that can throw you off. So great that they happen every week ๐
jk jk, we love weekends!
Seriously though, sometimes I just want to keep doing everything exactly the same on the weekends just so I don't fall off track, but we all know that's not how it works ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
I've got a few tips for you for not falling off on the weekends.
What it all boils down to is planning ahead, and your mindset.
When we just turn our brains off after one small thing goes off plan, that's when we start to get into trouble (guilty ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ)

2 APR 2022 ยท I'm so so excited to be interviewing my good friend and past client Bailey ๐งก
We have known each other for just about 3 years now, and the amount of changes that have happened since there are just insane ๐คฏ
Bailey started out hating her body (as so many women do) and trying anything and everything to change it and just get skinnier. ๐
She was trying to eat as little as possible and burn as many calories as possible which led to her always feeling hungry, never satisfied, tired, and just unhappy in her body and health. ๐
It all changed when she saw me doing a photoshoot for the classes I taught at my gym! She thought we all looked so badass and wanted to do what we were doing, so she joined my class. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Since then, Bailey has worked with me as a client in my group programs, and has made immense progress not just mentally and physically, but even in her own career. ๐๐ป
Bailey now runs her own personal training business (and is absolutely killing it ๐ฅ), loves training heavy and feeling strong ๐ช๐ป, eats food to fuel her body, never feels guilty about having pizza ๐ and actually enjoys eating food!
And, she now loves and appreciates her body ๐งก
