2 SEP 2024 · "I lost my brother to suicide in 2001. After a decade of grief, uncertainty, and confusion, I decided I needed to change. In 2012, along with a friend who had also lost a brother to suicide, I set out on a cross-country bicycle tour for suicide awareness and the healing power of art. We started on the northern edge of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and ended in Wappinger's Falls, New York, at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, the art retreat center of artist, Alex and Allyson Grey. Since my return, I have spent three years as a group facilitator for a local mental health facility, helping others who have lost loved ones to suicide. In 2015, I launched a podcast called Inner Monologue, a conversational interview show where others shared their journies of trials and tribulations. Recently, I published my book 2012: A Bicycle Odyssey, which tells the tale of my cross-country adventure." Thomas Brown.

12 AUG 2024 · My topic is forgiveness, and it is interesting that my method is completely different from everyone else's. We are all told that we should forgive, but no one teaches us exactly how right? It's like being given a recipe with no ingredients! Imagine finally letting go of the past and moving forward with genuine forgiveness. Imagine how that might affect your mental health. I know what you might be thinking. Maybe you're wrestling with the idea of forgiving someone you feel doesn't deserve it. They're unforgivable. Well, in my world, you don't have to forgive them as there are many other people who you can forgive first. As a 12-year breast cancer survivor who faced challenges in my youth, including a serious struggle in eighth grade when I almost took my own life, I've come to understand the nuances of forgiveness. After years of clinging to anger and grudges like they were my prized possessions, I stumbled upon the magic of forgiveness, and it's not just about forgiving people; it's about forgiving places and even things! We'll dive deeper into this on your podcast. My latest book, "The Ultimate Path to Forgiveness: Unlocking Your Power," is here to show you how to forgive. We'll chat about the unforgivable as well as how, who, and what to forgive. Isn't it time you forgave a few people from your past? I mean REALLY forgive them so that they stay forgiven this time. This way you can move on and start the best years of your life.

24 JUN 2024 · A bit about me—In 2009, at the age of 51, the sudden loss of my husband, plunged me into profound shock and grief but also catalyzed a journey of deep self-healing and discovery. Through this process, I developed the unique FLOW Grief Release Method, a simple 4-step method designed to help others navigate and alleviate their grief and pain. While grief and the loss of a loved one is a heavy subject that not everyone is comfortable with, it's a life-changing event that can either stop us from living or in my case propel us forward to growth and renewal. I believe my story and the insights from my journey could resonate deeply with your listeners, offering them real-life examples of overcoming adversity with resilience and humor. Sharing these experiences could provide your audience not only with a sense of hope but also practical approaches to finding joy and strength in the face of life’s challenges.
