30 SEP 2024 · For over 20 years I have pursued possibility. I have asked the question "what is truly possible for us in this life we have been gifted?"
Why do some people have a fixed mindset, others a growth mindset and for an even smaller group a possibility mindset?
My research (me - search?) led me to write the book "It's All Possible" and from there I have refined my thinking even more and landed on the "Super Six" principles that People of Possibility abide by.
People from business, entertainment, politics, music, sport all these people of possibility have these 6 principles.
From Arnold to Selena Gomez, to Mark Cuban to Bradley Cooper to Alisa Camplin.
In this podcast I talk about what a possibility mindset is and how it differs from the all important growth mindset. I reveal the six principles and the three overarching strategies they use to implement a possibility mindset.
The next podcast will reveal and discuss the 8 practices of people of possibility in how they bring the super six to fruition. So please subscribe so you get this next one first.
As always any questions contact through LinkedIn or my website robhartnett.com .
18 JUL 2024 · My special guest this month is Douglas P. Pflug, a retired Sergeant with 28 years of service at the Guelph Police in Canada who then transitioned to the Ontario Police College Leadership Unit.
He holds certificates in Executive Leadership, High-Performance Leadership, Change Leadership, and Managing for Execution from Cornell University.
In 2023, he earned a certificate in Foundations of Human Resource Management from McMaster University. Doug received national recognition as one of Canada's "123 remarkable Canadians" in 2020. Beyond policing, he excelled in sports, founded IRONWILL 360 Strength & Conditioning, and contributed to the success of the Guelph Storm Hockey Club.
An author and philanthropist, Doug published a self-help book and is working on his second one called Ironwill 360 Degree Leadership which will be released in November 2024. His extensive community contributions are evident in his support for Special Olympics and law enforcement initiatives and on this podcast episode. Douglas is the real deal!
We cover a lot of ground from leadership and wellness to prevention of suicide and this all comes from a man who had literally been on the front line as policeman and as a leader in the Police force. We also discuss important topics such as remote leadership, adaptive leadership and inclusiveness.
I really enjoyed this podcast and Douglas is inspirational and compells us to take action for ourselves and those around us. You can find out more about Douglas on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/douglas-p-pflug-2b39a723/ and on X @ironwill360
30 MAY 2024 · I am super excited this episode to bring you the "force of action" we all need in the wonderful Donnie Boivin. Donnie is a Marine Corps Veteran and a 20 year sales guy who got tired of living other people's dreams and making them wealthy (sound familiar) So what did he do?
He took the biggest risk in his life and opened up his own business, Success Champions......and ran it straight into the ground learning very quickly that being a sales guru does not always translate to business success. Fortunately, he found podcasting, launched Success Champions podcast and interviewed hundreds of influencers in business, learning how to be a CEO instead of an employee. Not only did he turn Success Champions around and build it into a profitable international business, he also created the Badass Business Summit for aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders to inspire and educate them to avoid his journey. Donnie is on a mission to change how the world networks (a yeh from me!) fixing everything business owners hate about networking and teaching business owners all the secrets to growing a thriving business they love.
I hope you enjoy this It's All Possible Podcast and you can connect with Donnie on LinkedIn and find out more here https://donnieboivin.com/
