7 OCT 2026 · I spoke with Mary Borman who was the first person with Down syndrome to attend the University of Arkansas and who is breaking many barriers and who is an awesome advocate. She is also the first person with Down syndrome to model in NWA Fashion Week. She also swims competitively both nationally and internationally with Special Olympics and the Down Syndrome International Swimming Organization and is a public speaker.
8 JUN 2026 · Today I talk with Amy Baker the owner of Pizzabilities and her daughter Grace Baker who works there. Amy is a mom and her daughter Grace is a young woman with Down syndrome. Amy created pizzabilities to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to have a positive welcoming work experience.
