Their mission is to build the largest community of people with disabilities in tech. Although Naitik is now a CEO, he was a designer for most of his life. On the show, I talk to him about finding design at a young age, immigrating from Pune, India to Vancouver and how he started Next Billion.

Trixie uses business as a way to fill the needs of newcomer refugees. She was inspired to create Flavours of Hope after witnessing the challenges of being a newcomer, through her own immigration story and through her work in social services.

She has written a trilogy of YA novels, the Ava of the Gaia series, that feature empowering stories about women and climate change activism.
