7 OCT 2026 · Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 is officially in the books. So was it a great season of Star Trek — or did Strange New Worlds lose its way?Craig and Steve are back together for Making It So Episode 57 to wrap up the entire fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. We go through all ten episodes in order, give our scores, revisit what worked and what absolutely didn’t, and then step back to discuss the much bigger questions surrounding one of the most experimental seasons of modern Star Trek.Season 4 gave us everything from dinosaurs and cosmic horror to Hangover-style comedy, black-and-white noir, puppets, soap opera, real-time disaster storytelling, Crimson Tide-style command drama and another visit to the Elysian Kingdom. For Craig and Steve, that produced some genuinely brilliant Star Trek — but also some of the weakest episodes either of us has seen from the franchise. We discuss the outstanding opening episode “Valles Marineris,” the unsettling “The Griffin Incident,” the disappointing “Human Best Friend,” the controversial puppet episode “Level-Five Transporter Accident,” the excellent “Off-Hour,” the strange but surprisingly effective “Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass,” the brilliant “Orders of Magnitude,” the much less successful “Once La’an a Time,” and the TOS-heavy finale “Tomorrow’s Enterprise.”Then we move beyond individual episodes.Did Strange New Worlds rely too heavily on gimmicks? Is genre experimentation the problem — or only when the gimmick becomes more important than the Star Trek story? Can a ten-episode season afford this many experiments? Is Pike still the central character of his own series?Has Kirk appeared too often? What happened to Pelia? What do we want from McCoy and Sulu? And what does Season 5 need to do to bring Pike’s era to a satisfying conclusion? We also talk about the broader state of Star Trek, Starfleet Academy, the franchise’s recent direction, why weekly releases still matter, and why discussing these episodes together has sometimes completely changed the way we look at them. Most importantly, we want to hear from you. What was your favourite episode? What was your least favourite?Did you enjoy the genre experiments? And what do you need to see from Season 5?

LIONESS & STAR TREK Finales! | LOTR, Falling Skies & More | What Am I Watching This Week? | 30/09/26
29 SEP 2026 · What Am I Watching This Week? is back after a week off — and despite life getting in the way, I still managed to get through a pretty ridiculous amount of TV and movies.
This week I’m talking about the Lioness Season 3 finale and where that huge ending leaves Joe’s story, plus the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 finale after what has been a very uneven season.
I’m also rewatching The Terminal List Season 1 ahead of Season 2 arriving in October, while Stuart Fails to Save the Universe continues to be one of those shows I can throw on whenever I simply want a laugh.
Then we head into some older sci-fi.
I’ve started watching Falling Skies again. Who remembers Tom Mason, the 2nd Mass, the Skitters and the mystery surrounding the alien occupation?
I’ve also been watching Resident Alien, because Alan Tudyk is excellent in basically everything he does and Harry Vanderspeigle remains one of his funniest characters.
And then the nostalgia binge got completely out of control.
We watched all three Lord of the Rings movies — The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King — and they still hold up magnificently.
Then we went back to the Police Academy movies for some pure ’80s comedy before finishing with the original Cannonball Run starring Burt Reynolds and an absurd collection of famous faces.
This week:
🦁 Lioness Season 3 Finale
🖖 Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Finale
🎯 The Terminal List Season 1 Rewatch
😂 Stuart Fails to Save the Universe
👽 Falling Skies
👽 Resident Alien
⚔️ The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Who remembers Falling Skies?
Are you watching Resident Alien?
What did you think of the Lioness and Strange New Worlds finales?
And what are YOU watching this week?

28 SEP 2026 · Lioness: After Action — Season 4: What We Know & What Needs to Happen Next
Where does Lioness go after that Season 3 finale?
Aaliyah is back. Joe’s family is gone. Cruz has no idea Aaliyah has returned. Oleksandra is dead after the CIA got its assessment catastrophically wrong. The mole mystery remains unresolved, and we still don’t know exactly how Joe McNamara’s identity ended up circulating through the international black-operations world.
Meanwhile, Lioness Season 4 has not yet been officially announced by Paramount+.
In this episode of Lioness: After Action, Craig looks ahead at what we currently know about a potential fourth season and the storylines Taylor Sheridan needs to resolve if Lioness returns.
We discuss Aaliyah’s missing years between Seasons 1 and 3, why an Aaliyah and Cruz reunion should be at the heart of Season 4, what Aaliyah actually wants from Joe and the Lioness team, the unresolved mole, where Joe’s identity came from, and the consequences of the CIA killing Oleksandra.
We also look at Joe and Neal’s fractured marriage, why Joe’s family shouldn’t simply return in Episode 1, the future of Kyle and the QRF, and why Season 4 should bring some of the original undercover Lioness mission concept back into the series.
Plus, what does Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount television deal running through 2028 mean for the future of Lioness as his next television deal with NBCUniversal approaches?
Season 3 has left far too much unfinished business for the story to end here.
What does Lioness Season 4 absolutely need to resolve?
What happened to Aaliyah after Season 1?
How did she identify Joe?
Who is the mole?
Can Joe repair her family?
And what happens when Cruz and Aaliyah finally meet again?
Join the discussion and follow Geek In Camo for all future Lioness renewal, casting and Season 4 news.
We’ll also be covering The Terminal List Season 2 and Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 alongside our continuing Lioness coverage.

27 SEP 2026 · Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 comes to an end with Episode 10, “Tomorrow’s Enterprise.” Has the series finally found its way back to Star Trek?
Craig is flying solo for Making It So Episode 56 after severe storms in the United States left Steve without power.
Before getting into the episode, a huge thank you to everyone who follows, watches and listens to Geek In Camo — and particularly to our Patreon supporters, whose support directly helps keep these shows going.
This week Craig breaks down the Strange New Worlds Season 4 finale scene by scene.
Uhura encounters a mysterious signal coming from a white hole and discovers she is communicating with another version of herself one year in the future. That future gives us one of the most exciting glimpses yet of where Strange New Worlds is heading: James T. Kirk is Captain of the Enterprise, Uhura and Scotty are together, Ortegas has moved on, McCoy is waiting in the wings, M’Benga is spending more time on Vulcan — and something appears to have happened to La’an.
The temporal mystery eventually connects a white hole in the present to a black hole in the future and introduces the mysterious Midwives, beings that experience time very differently from humans.
And that raises another question:
Could these black-hole and white-hole aliens somehow be related to the Prophets — the wormhole aliens from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine?
Both appear to exist outside our normal understanding of linear time, so Craig looks at the similarities and asks whether Strange New Worlds may be hinting at a wider connection — or simply exploring a similar Star Trek concept.
There’s also the small matter of an enormous interdimensional space baby.
But underneath the stranger elements, Craig argues that “Tomorrow’s Enterprise” succeeds because the science-fiction story actually drives the episode. The Enterprise encounters something unknown, the crew investigates it, communication ultimately solves the crisis, and Uhura saves the day by being exceptionally good at her actual job.
Craig gives “Tomorrow’s Enterprise” 8.5/10, placing it among his strongest episodes of Season 4, although “Orders of Magnitude” remains his favourite at 9/10.

Star Trek Has Lost Its Way | Strange New Worlds S4E9 | Fairy Tale Episode AGAIN?! | Making It So E55
21 SEP 2026 · Has Star Trek: Strange New Worlds lost its way? In **Making It So Episode 55**, Craig and Steve break down **Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 9, “Once La’an a Time”** — the penultimate episode of Season 4 and another trip back into the fantasy world of **The Elysian Kingdom**. After last week’s excellent “Orders of Magnitude” gave us a serious Starfleet command story, this week the Enterprise discovers an impossible flat world populated by fantasy versions of its crew. La’an finds herself confronting Princess Thalia, Pike and Spock meet their own counterparts, Queen Neve wants control of the Enterprise, and somehow we end up with magic, a werewolf, a dragon and another fairy-tale adventure. But underneath all of that is an important story about **La’an Noonien-Singh**. Her anger, fear, connection to Khan and difficulty allowing other people to truly know her finally come to the surface — while her relationship with **James T. Kirk** takes another major step forward. The question is: **did Strange New Worlds need another fantasy episode?** Craig and Steve go scene by scene through the episode and discuss: • The return of The Elysian Kingdom • La’an’s emotional struggle and Princess Thalia • Prince Dashing and the James T. Kirk connection • Pike and Spock’s fantasy counterparts • Queen Neve and the “Iron Dragon” • The Princess Bride influences and Easter eggs • Werewolves, magic and dragons in Star Trek • La’an finally confronting the parts of herself she has spent years suppressing • Kirk and La’an’s relationship moving forward • The bigger problem with Strange New Worlds Season 4 • Has Star Trek become too focused on gimmick episodes? • What happened to exploring strange new worlds? • And whether this episode actually works despite everything stacked against it **FULL SPOILERS for Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 9, “Once La’an a Time.”** We both love Star Trek, which is exactly why this discussion matters. Strange New Worlds can still deliver fantastic Trek — “Orders of Magnitude” proved that only one episode ago — but Season 4 has increasingly leaned into genre experiments, gimmicks and stories that sometimes feel a long way from the optimistic science-fiction exploration the show originally promised. Is experimentation part of what makes Strange New Worlds work? Or has Star Trek finally lost its way? Let us know what you thought of **“Once La’an a Time”** in the comments. Did the La’an character development make the fantasy story worthwhile? And where does this episode rank for you in Season 4? 👍 Like the video if you enjoyed the discussion 💬 Tell us your score out of 10 in the comments 🔔 Subscribe to Geek In Camo for more **Making It So**, Star Trek reviews, episode breakdowns and sci-fi discussion. 00:00 Introduction and Full Spoiler Warning 01:24 Another Elysian Kingdom Episode? 02:17 La’an’s Story and The Princess Bride Influence 03:20 Season 4 Has Wasted Its Limited Episodes 07:57 La’an’s Characterisation and Pelia’s Future 12:10 Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary and Silly Trek 13:00 Why Lower Decks Makes Silly Star Trek Work 14:34 Ten-Episode Seasons Cannot Be Treated Like 26 18:52 Enterprise and Older Star Trek Look Better Now 22:22 Why We Stopped the Scene-by-Scene Breakdown 23:55 The Episode’s Few Positives and Our Ratings 25:35 Has Star Trek Lost Its Way? 26:10 What Modern Star Trek Should Learn from Lower Decks 28:31 We Criticise Star Trek Because We Love It 30:36 Tomorrow’s Enterprise Finale Preview 31:25 Final Thoughts and Outro SOCIALS Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cw/GeekInCamo YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@geekincamo Twitter/X: https://x.com/GeekInCamo Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090437307439 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/geekincamo/ Threads: https://www.threads.com/@geekincamo?hl=en PODCAST Spreaker: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/geek-in-camo--7219440 Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/id6796128075 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/033Y9TroBdO7Eo91Wqe7Ae iHeartRadio: https://iheart.com/podcast/339886373 Amazon Music/Audible: https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/2a9c2703-87f6-48e7-984d-44d027dc0f5e #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds #SNW #MakingItSo #GeekInCamo #StarTrekReview #StrangeNewWorldsSeason4 #LaAnNoonienSingh #CaptainPike #JamesTKirk Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/geek-in-camo--7219440/support.

20 SEP 2026 · Lioness Season 3 Finale Explained: Aaliyah Returns, Joe’s Betrayal & Episode 8 Breakdown
The Lioness Season 3 finale, “The Unraveling,” finally reveals who was sitting near the top of the operation against Joe — and it completely changes the way we need to look at the season. In this full-spoiler episode of Lioness: After Action, I break down Episode 8 from beginning to end.
Joe is free, but revenge is driving her decisions. A surveillance operation involving Dmitri Sokolov turns into a disaster, leaving Tex and Two Cups wounded. Kaitlyn and Byron become convinced Oleksandra was behind Joe’s kidnapping, and the CIA acts before the full intelligence picture emerges. Then everything changes.
Alex reveals that Joe’s identity and a huge bounty had been circulating through contractor and mercenary networks, while the kidnappers intended to hand her over to the Iran-backed KSS.And finally, in Doha, we discover the benefactor behind the operation:Aaliyah Amrohi.
Her return brings the story all the way back to Season 1 and raises an even bigger question:Was there ever actually a mole inside the CIA?
We discuss Oleksandra becoming the scapegoat, the consequences of Joe and the CIA acting too quickly, Neal and the girls leaving, Joe’s deteriorating family life, Kyle’s role throughout the season, and why Aaliyah may have wanted Joe alive as bait to draw the entire Lioness team — particularly Cruz — toward her.
We also look ahead to Lioness Season 4 and the questions still hanging over the story:How did Aaliyah identify Joe?Who originally put Joe’s profile into the contractor network?
What exactly does Aaliyah want from Cruz?
Will Joe go after her without official approval?
And can Joe ever repair what has happened to her family?
Plus, I revisit some of my own pre-finale predictions — including the Hollar mole theory — and admit where I got it wrong.
But we also got something important right:Oleksandra was the scapegoat, and Aaliyah absolutely had the motive and resources to be the client behind the operation.
Full spoilers for Lioness Season 3 Episode 8 — “The Unraveling.”

18 SEP 2026 · The Terminal List Season 2 official trailer is here — and we’re breaking it down scene by scene.
From James Reece’s exile in Africa and the London terrorist attack to Raife Hastings, Freddy Strain, Jules Landry, Mo Farooq and some major True Believer clues, there is a LOT packed into this trailer.
In this episode of The Terminal List: After Action, I go through the new Season 2 trailer shot by shot, looking at the story, characters, military details, weapons, gear and the connections to both The Terminal List: Dark Wolf and Jack Carr’s True Believer.
⚠️ SPOILER WARNING:
This breakdown contains spoilers for Jack Carr’s True Believer novel as we compare the source material with what Prime Video appears to be setting up for Season 2.
We cover James Reece’s life in exile, Rich Hastings in Mozambique, Katie Buranek following the #WhereIsJamesReece trail, Raife Hastings working the intelligence picture, the London attack that kills 113 people, Freddy Strain bringing Reece back into the fight, Jules Landry’s potentially much darker role, and the possibility that we’re already seeing pieces of the Odessa storyline.
There’s also plenty for the military and gear crowd. I take a closer look at the suppressed H&K MP7, M4-pattern rifles, Reece’s SIG P226/MK25, what appears to be a SIG Spear, CQB sequences, sniper/observer positions and rotary-wing operations — including some personal thoughts from my own experience with the MP7, M4-family rifles and P226.And yes, there’s even a watch connection. Mo Farooq appears to be wearing an Eastern Arabic-dial Seiko 5 on a NATO strap — so naturally I wore mine for the episode.
With Chris Pratt returning as James Reece, and characters from Dark Wolf carrying directly into Season 2, this is looking much bigger, more international and far more espionage-driven than Season 1.
What did you spot in the trailer?
Do you think Jules Landry will follow his True Believer storyline?
Does Freddy Strain make it out of Season 2?
And how closely do you think the series will follow the Odessa storyline?Drop your theories in the comments.
The Terminal List Season 2 premieres October 21 on Prime Video.

17 SEP 2026 · Who Is the Mole in Lioness? Why These Season 3 Suspects Don’t Fit | Lioness: After Action
Who is the mole in Lioness Season 3, and who really betrayed Joe McNamara?
After my last Lioness mole theory video, the comments exploded with alternative suspects: Kaitlyn, Byron, Mullins, Kyle, Cruz, Bobby, Neal, Aaliyah, Oleksandra and even members of the QRF.
So in this special episode of Lioness: After Action, I’m doing the opposite of my last prediction.Instead of asking who the mole IS, I’m asking: Who can we eliminate — and why?
I go through the major suspects using what we know from Lioness Seasons 1, 2 and 3, looking at access, motive, opportunity and, most importantly, whether their actual actions make sense if they were responsible for giving Joe to Iran. I explain why I don’t believe Kaitlyn Meade betrayed Joe, why Byron Westfield being ruthless doesn’t necessarily make him the mole, why Edwin Mullins actually became less suspicious to me in Episode 7, and why Kyle’s actions are one of the biggest reasons Joe survived. We also look at Cruz Manuelos, Josie, Bobby, Two Cups, Tex, Randy and the QRF, and why I think the scale of Joe’s betrayal points above the operational teams and into the highest levels of the US national-security system. Then there’s Aaliyah. She has motive. She has money. But could she be the client rather than the internal mole? And finally, we get to Oleksandra.I increasingly believe Oleksandra may be the perfect scapegoat — somebody who genuinely looks guilty enough that the CIA could be manipulated into eliminating her while the people actually responsible walk away. That brings us back to my biggest theory: Errol may be the outside bridge.
Damian Hollar may provide the government access.
And Chief of Staff Mason may be more important than we first realised.Could Hollar and Mason be working together? Could Errol be helping a faction inside the US government rather than one individual mastermind? And could the real purpose of blaming Oleksandra be to stop everyone looking toward Washington? This is NOT a leak. I have not seen the Season 3 finale. These are my predictions and theories based entirely on what Lioness has shown us so far.FULL SPOILERS through Lioness Season 3 Episode 7, “Kiss the Girls.”

16 SEP 2026 · This week on What Am I Watching This Week?, Joe is finally free in Lioness — but now the real question is who is the mole? I’m also talking about what may be the best Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode of Season 4 so far, featuring a rogue admiral, Andorians and James T. Kirk back aboard the Enterprise. Elsewhere, I’m still loving Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, and I’ve added Chad Powers to the weekly rotation. Glen Powell absolutely nails the role, and underneath the football and comedy there’s a surprisingly interesting story about identity, failure and second chances. I also need to rewatch this week’s Lanterns after falling asleep — entirely my fault, not the show — while Silo Season 3 is officially finished and has me ready for the fourth and final season. I’m rewatching The Terminal List and The Terminal List: Dark Wolf before Season 2, with a dedicated recap coming soon, and the Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 teaser has me excited for another round with Dexter Morgan and his Dark Passenger. Then for this week’s nostalgia hit we go back to two classics: Predator — Schwarzenegger, the jungle and one of the greatest sci-fi action movies ever made. RoboCop — the original Alex Murphy, not the remake. The action still works, but so does the surprisingly sharp satire underneath it. This week: 🦁 Lioness — Joe is free. Who is the mole?
