24 SEP 2024 · On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don are here to recap the 2024 season. Before we get into that, we have to talk about CJ Abrams being sent down and Ohtani going 50/50 (and more). We talk about how Grey is doing in the expert leagues and lessons learned from the 2024 season.Â
Then, it’s on to the awards for 2024. We hand out the AL and NL Rookie of the Year. Grey thinks there are clear winners for Breakout, Bounceback, and Best Fantasy Value. Do you agree with him? We wrap up the show with the Biggest Bust and we talk about some top 50 players we don’t expect to be back in there for 2025.

9 SEP 2024 · On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don cover the fresh batch of September call-ups. Starting in New York with Jasson Dominguez joining the Yankees. Kumar Rocker, Justin Foscue, and Jack Leiter are on their way up as reinforcements in Texas. Landon Knack is rejoining the Dodgers rotation and our boy, Jordan Walker, is back up after a minimum stay in the minors. Bryan Ramos and Marco Luciano also join the list of recalled players back up for September.Â
We discuss Pavin Smith’s great week and if it’s something real. Then, Julio Rodriguez has started to perform as of late, but is it the return of old JRod or just a blip? Where does he fit in among outfielders for next year? We wrap up the show talking about the bullpens, waiver wire bats, and streaming pitchers.

2 SEP 2024 · On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don discuss how you should approach September baseball to take home your league title. Then, we move on to another September tradition with roster expansion and prospect call-ups.Â
The Angels called up a pair of young arms in Caden Dana and Sam Aldegheri. Kyle Manzardo and Coby Mayo got recalled by their respective teams to help with the final push. We also cover Darren Baker, Griffin Conine, and Duke Ellis (and why isn’t it Jasson Dominguez). Corbin Carroll has become a power hitter, but where did the steals go? We cover the bullpen changes and waiver wire options for you to wrap the show up.Â

27 AUG 2024 · On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don start the show discussing the most questionable extension of all time and Joey Votto’s retirement. Is the Nationals new call-up Dylan Crews a must add in all leagues? Do the accomplishments of Shoehei Ohtani and Aaron Judge earn them the top 2 spots in drafts next year?Â
Next up is a game of Scientific Fact, Sex Panther, or I Don’t Believe You with some August and 2nd half breakouts. Connor Norby has been hot since his recall. Jhonkensy Noel, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Ernie Clement have been useful recently too. On the pitching side, Bowden Francis, Spencer Schwellenbach, and Tobias Myers are throwing well, but can they keep it up and could they be useful in 2025?

20 AUG 2024 · On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about some of the possible impact call-ups. The Rays have called up Junior Caminero and surprisingly are allowing for service time while the Yankees called up and sent back down Jasson Dominguez. The Tigers called up Jace Jung and Trey Sweeney, but which guy does Grey think you should prioritize. The Rockies also called up a couple youngsters in Jordan Beck and Drew Romo, while also reinstating Nolan Jones from the IL. Triston Casas also back from the IL along with Tommy Edman, Walker Buehler, and Bobby Miller.Â
Next up, we play a game of The Gambler and B_Don asks Grey whether to hold em or fold em with some struggling players. Several middle infielders have struggled in the second half including Trea Turner, CJ Abrams, and Bryson Stott. Two of the top catchers are on struggle street, but would Grey drop them? What about some pitcher that were producing, but have slowed down in Garrett Crochet, Mackenzie Gore, and Max Fried. Lots of bullpen talk this week followed by waiver wire bats and streaming pitcher options.Â
13 AUG 2024 · On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_don talk about a couple of call-ups in Jordan Walker and Zebby Matthews. Is Grey running to the wire to add these youngsters? It was the week of Jackson as Chourio, Merrill, and Holliday all had impressive weeks and we discussed their production for the rest of this year and next year. James Wood also joins the list of prospects that have been performing recently and we discuss where he falls amongst the Jackson trio. Â
Then, we turn our attention to some of the top recent performers on the power and speed sides. On the hot HR bats side, we talk about Kyle Schwarber, Jake Burger, and Jorge Soler. On the stolen bases side of things, we discuss Corbin Carroll and Xavier Edwards. We wrap up the show with bullpen talk, waiver wire bats, and streaming pitcher options.Â

5 AUG 2024 · On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about a couple of top prospects that were called up in Coby Mayo and Jackson Holliday. After the prospect talk, we move on to talk about the trades that happened after we recorded the show last week. Dodgers added Michael Kopech, Jack Flaherty, Amed Rosario, Nick Ahmed, and Kevin Kiermaier. Lane Thomas goes from Washington to Cleveland, but is that a good thing for his fantasy production?Â
The White Sox traded away Eloy Jimenez and Paul Dejong, but what could they do for your rosters? Josh Bell is on the move as he does every season and Jorge Soler found his way back to Atlanta. Bryan De La Cruz, Justin Turner, Paul Dejong, and Mark Canha all are on changing teams as well.Â
Next up, we move on the pitchers that were traded at the deadline. Tanner Scott is off to Southern California, but it doesn’t look like he’s not going to be closing for the Padres. A number of streaming arms were moved, but how do we view these pitchers like: Alex Cobb, Paul Blackburn, Trevor Rogers, Yusei Kikuchi, and Frankie Montas. We wrap up the show with closer talk, waiver wire hitters, and streaming pitcher options.

30 JUL 2024 · On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don breakdown the MLB trades made at the deadline. The Yankees have added Jazz Chisholm Jr., and we discuss where fits in the lineup and are there any concerns with his move to New York (other than his green belt). Jazz’s former team made a move by recalling Max Meyer, but is the young pitcher worth a spot on your roster for the rest of this season?Â
Zach Eflin is moving over to Baltimore with Seranthony Dominguez and Cristian Pache in a separate deal. Meanwhile, Austin Hays is going to Philly to help their OF and give some lefty pitching help. Randy Arozarena is on his way to Seattle, but is that a good thing for him? Many other players were on the move and we discussed them all like: Isaac Paredes, Christopher Morell, Jesse Winker, Tommy Edman, Erick Fedde, Danny Jansen, Carson Kelly, and James Paxton. A bunch of relievers are on the move too in AJ Puk, Carlos Estevez, Jason Adam, and some others.
