Friday's MLB DFS Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings - 8/9/19
9 AUG 2019 · The DFSR crew of Doug Norrie and James Davis are back at it with a Friday MLB podcast breaking down FanDuel and DraftKings baseball action.
They are live and in studio together and looking at both the top pitchers on the slate as well as some potentially interesting stacks.
For the arms, they guys discuss Walker Buehler versus Stephen Strasburg on the more expensive side of things. Both bring in excellent peripherals with Buehler getting the slightly better matchup and win odds against the Diamondbacks. But there does appear to be some value on the money line for Strasburg who is facing the red-hot Mets.
They also look at Drew Smyly, Julio Teheran and Kyle Freeland as potential cheap DraftKings SP2 options.

Doug Norrie and James Davis are here to break everything down for you on FanDuel and DraftKings. They start with a quick recap of 4th of July festivities and then get into some of the pitchers to consider. They look at where Clayton Kershaw ranks in terms of the elite arms moving forward at this point in his career. They also look at the similar peripherals between Justin Verlander and Jacob deGrom this season but how their matchups are a bit problematic today.
And finally, for the arms, there’s Julio Teheran against the Marlins and Eduardo Rodriguez to consider.
In terms of stacks, there are almost too many to name today with a number of teams coming in at implied run lines well over five on Friday. They discuss the Brewers, Twins, Nationals and more.
