15 AUG 2021 · In this episode, we talk about Science Week, happening all over Australia. Dr. V talks about how she participates in Science Week, and discusses the group she founded which teaches science to people with intellectual disabilities.
We discuss the topic of disabilites, the stigma that people seems to hold onto and what is possible to achieve when you have a disability of any kind.
We also meet two of the members of the Science Alliance, Tess and Ariana who have learnt many interesting facts about science via theory and experimentation; but more so, they talk about how it helped them grow as an individual outside of the world of science.
This is the podcast that encourages, empowers and assists anyone with or without a disability that they can achieve success and enjoy life being who they are.
