26 JUN 2024 · When we talk about the manosphere in this podcast series, the focus is often on angry white men, and their frustrations with women in general, feminists in particular. But there are also parts of the manosphere that are not run by and for white men.
This podcastepisode is about one of those places, namely the Black Manosphere. Here, especially British and American black men vent their frustrations about feminism, "strong black women" and what they see as the undermining of the black family through podcasts, TikTok videos and YouTube essays. Here you find Passport bros, MGTOWS, Hoteps and a lot of misogynoir. To help us understand the black manosphere, we have a visit from Ph.D. Alexandria Onuoha from Suffolk University, who has studied and written about the black manosphere from her perspective as a developmental psychologist.

31 MAY 2024 · Israel has long marketed itself as the startup nation; a country at the absolute forefront when it comes to digital innovation. This also applies to their surveillance industry, which, in close collaboration with the Israeli military, develops software and hardware capable of everything from hacking phones, recognizing faces, and monitoring the internet. Israel's surveillance industry is also exported on a large scale. Who knows, it might be coming to a country near you soon?
Palestinian human rights advocate and tech expert Mona Shtaya is our guest on this episode where we discuss the surveillance industry in Israel, how the technology is tested on Palestinians and exported to totalitarian states and why the Palestinian cause is connected to the right to privacy and freedom of expression globally.
