21 NOV 2024 · On this edition of Bison Chat, Joe and Galen recap the weekend, as we discuss Curt Cignetti's extension and what it means for IU athletics. We also hear from Cignetti as he discusses Ohio State, as we break down some of the key items related to the huge upcoming showdown in Columbus. Finally, we do our newly traditional live breakdown of the CFP rankings, with some analysis of what the committee did this week and what it means for Indiana.
19 NOV 2024 · On the latest edition of CrimsonCast, we sit down for a lengthy and enjoyable interview with Dane Sanzenbacher, former Ohio State WR, former NFL player, and currently an analyst on 97.1 FM in Columbus. We discuss Dane's very unique connection to Indiana University (and CrimsonCast), and then dive deep into the various aspects of this top-5 matchup. We talk about the mentalities of both teams, the surprisingly even statistical profiles of both, the advantages Ohio State may have in this type of a game, but also the benefits Indiana may enjoy from this particular matchup at this particular time.Â
19 NOV 2024 · Suck Month continues, as we enter Ohio State Week --- and the stakes are huge. IU arrives ranked in the top 5, taking on another top 5 team in the Buckeyes. On this episode, we tackle some items leading into tomorrow's updated CFP reveal, including the Indiana-SEC war on X, the framing of the debate around Indiana, who to root against in the next couple of weeks, the new football stadium plans at Northwestern, and more.Â
18 NOV 2024 · Scott is joined by Connor Onion of Big Ten Network and Fox.  They discuss, why everything Cignetti has said has come true, will there be ANOTHER renegotiation in a few weeks, the crazy swings in programs in college football, how he views our game against Ohio State, and why he’s excited to come to Bloomington if we host a CFP game.Â
16 NOV 2024 · Indiana and Curt Cignetti signed a contract extension and raise on Saturday, upping his guaranteed salary to $9 million per year and lengthening the deal through 2032. We do an emergency podcast to digest the news and talk about why this is so important for IU athletics and Indiana football specifically.
15 NOV 2024 · Indiana is on a bye this week, but many of the teams they are competing against for a CFP bid are in action. Which results are best for the Hoosiers? Matt Blaszka joins the podcast as we discuss some of the games and potential outcomes for this weekend. (Note that Matt was on the phone for this interview, so some of the audio quality isn't as good as normal. Thanks for your patience!)
10 NOV 2024 · The Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, in one of the most monumental victories in school history. The Hoosiers rode some solid offensive execution to a first half lead, then white-knucked their way to a victory in the second half thanks largely to their defense and special teams. It was the first time that IU has truly been tested for a full 60 minutes, and they figured out a way to pull out the win. We discuss the game in detail, talk about the CFP implications, and evaluate what's coming up next for the Hoosiers.
8 NOV 2024 · Taylor Lehman of Bite Sized Bison joins the show for our weekly Thursday Indiana football preview show. This week, we break down Indiana's game this Saturday against Michigan, who won the CFP title last season, but has looked far from that standard this season. We discuss where Michigan's biggest issues have been so far this year, what things they do well, and how they match up against the Hoosiers, both through traditional and advanced statistical analysis. We also talk about Indiana's keys to success, what opportunities they have to exploit their opponent's weaknesses, and what Michigan needs to have happen for the game to go their way.
7 NOV 2024 · James plan for the weekend, why to stay away from the UCLA spread, why the Gophers are going to easily cover the spread, some other lines on the OSU game, why Oregon can easily cover their spread, James tries to piss off Taylor Swift fans, why Penn State is a stay away, finally they talk about the IU game and why he loves the line on Fan Duel and why IU is going to cover any line you find. Â
Finally James gives us his Hoosier Hotstreak pick for the week, after we lick our wounds from last week.
7 NOV 2024 · Scott is joined by Jeremy Gray - IU Senior Associate Athletic Director to talk about the origin story behind the Cignetti shirts and rally towels at Memorial Stadium. They talk about the success they have been thus far, if they will continue, along with all the improved marketing efforts around Memorial Stadium the past few years, before Scott opens up the comment box to throw out a few ideas to Jeremy. Stay Never Daunted! Â
