While digesters are undoubtedly beneficial to the environment, they need to make financial sense for investors to commit to them. Large investments by companies like BP and Shell strongly indicate that they offer a financial return. Although Urbenex BioEnergy digesters are smaller than those purchased by BP in the United States and Shell in Europe, they still represent a significant investment decision, priced at approximately USD$3 million each. 19 MAY 2023 · In Australia and around the world we have seen interest rates rapidly rip move upwards and community sentiment, initially at least, push property prices down.
We live in a world where most people have a finite servicing capacity and therefore as interest rates rise the amount, they can borrow falls.
We are seeing both residential and commercial rental rates increasing at a time when landlords are seeing their profitability eroded not just by interest rates but increased government charges and other costs such as insurance.
