We are committed to centering Indigenous voices and offering alternative narratives that empower Indigenous people and their stories. We recognize that media has often been used as a tool to subordinate or appropriate Indigenous voices and we are committed to subverting these dynamics. The team is comprised of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who are passionate about story-telling, alternative media and Indigenous affairs.

8 NOV 2019 · The episode opens with Emily sharing her reflections in the world of Inuit art and responding to a recent New York Times article. Next Sabrina and Shania guide a discussion on recent efforts by the British Columbian government to implement UNDRIP. Next Shelby leads a discussion on Squamish's Senakw project proposal. In the second half of the discussion the group responds to the topics of the episode, and how they relate to Indigenous futurisms.

The episode begins with a reflection on the results of the 2019 Federal election. This is followed by a discussion on Indigenous Futurisms with a focus on sovereignty and representation.

27 MAR 2019 · We finish Season 4 with a conversation about journeys. What journey means to us, where they take us, how they change us, how to go through them in a good way. Jamuna, Jess and Wacey share some readings and stories. We began this season gripping desperately to a script. We finish with a beautifully unscripted and honest discussion.

We speak with performers DJ Kookum and the all Indigenous burlesque grroup Virago Nation.
