A world of inspiration, motivation and enlightening discussions. BishopWorld was the name of my motivation and mentorship programs and this podcast is an expansion of that ground work. It is a means to reach out to my audience in the comfort and convenience of audio.
I'm Omogolo Pikinini but have been commonly known as the Bishop, a name I was given by my mentor years back. I've been doing motivational speaking and writing for about 8 years now (started at the age of 12), and have seen my passion for the work grow through the years. I love the power of words and how just the right word can put a life into perspective and BishopWorld allows me to do just that.

7 SEP 2020 · This is my first episode after a long summer break. I just made my way back to the mic and this is really just a meet and greet. I picked a random topic to start things off and the first thing on my mind was Love. I approached the topic from a kenotic perspective although I didn't go much into the idea of kenosis itself.
Love in the kenotic sense can be viewed as voluntary vulnerability and self-limitation. Acting in a sacrificial way and making room or allowing possibility for the other to make a sacrificial response.

This is wrap up to the previous three episodes that were addressing concepts related to development and growth. A necessary reiteration and summary to ground the meaning of growth and why it is something worth talking about. Also shed light on the crippling effects of not being conscious of this process of growth at different levels of analysis.
You're nothing but a being undergoing and seeking growth of itself, hence to talk about life we have to inevitably understand growth first.

In this very heartfelt and deeply spiritual discussion, I dive into the realms of ancient theology and fish out some profound interpretations. These scriptures and teachings were my chosen rhetoric to explore the discussion "Man is special, You're special."
I felt the need to take this peek into the theological world because these principle were introduced to me in the same domain, although I can say most of the interpretations are self derived. I tried as much as possible to not make it a Christian lecture but, rather an enlightening proclamation that man had made in these ancient narrations.

You have to know how to push yourself forward and also know how to push yourself out of your own way. This is because you are both your biggest supporter and your biggest enemy. You need to acknowledge and become conscious of both these two people inside you. You are both the person that is ambitious enough to come up with a dream and the same person doubtful enough to abandon or sabotage it. So you want to empower the dreamer in you while outwitting the destroyer in you. But the first step is accepting and being conscious of ones own darkness, for he always goes unnoticed and unchecked.
Master yourself.
