Rasin the Rabbit
17 JUL 2024 · Meet raisin the rabbit!Â
Raisin is a sweet, 2 year old rabbit who is looking for her forever home.
She really loves to lounge around and have lots of playful adventures. She also really loves hay, fresh greens, veggies and fruit for her snack. Having plenty of snacks and playing with her many toys are Raisin’s favorite pastime.  Â
we are recommending good judgment with children, slow positive introductions will be very important to ensure everyone is comfortable. We do require everyone in the home to come in to meet raisin. .Â
As for other animals, we recommend that raisin be in a home with animals who can give her plenty of space to call her own.Â
She would enjoy having free roam time, and would love lots of space to hop around. It will be very important for her to have plenty of space to run freely and space to call her own.Â
Loud sudden/ movements can spook raisin, so slow positive introductions will be very important to ensure everyone is comfortable.Â
Let’s find this sweetheart her forever home!
Feel like raisin would be the perfect match for your home?Â

Trout the orange Tabby
11 JUN 2024 · Meet Trout the orange tabby!Â
This dashingly handsome gentleman is a lovebug who enjoys lots of snuggles and plenty of treats!Â
Trout is a 2 year sweet cat, who really loves a good tasty treat! He also really loves a nice sunny spot by the window. He’s quite the talker in the morning for his food.Â
Another thing that makes Trout unique is he is one of our residents who tested positive for FIV, this is an immunodeficiency virus that will require proper care with a vet relationship.
Regular wellness checkups and a proper diet is very important when a cat has FIV.Â
FIV can be transmitted to other cats, so we do require that trout go home with other kitties that are FIV positive or would be the only cat in the home and indoors only.
Trout is considered "good judgment" with kiddosand cat-savvy dogs, slow positive intros will be very important.
Trout is patiently waiting for someone who can give him plenty of love and snacks!Â
If you think Trout can be a right fit for you please call us at (207)942-8902 or email mailto:adoption@bangorhumane.org to learn more.
