27 JUN 2024 · The following is my AEW Dynamite 6/26/24 review and AEW Forbidden Door 2024 predictions. We also discuss the reports of Ricky Starks potentially leaving AEW soon for WWE.  Fightful Select just dropped a huge article on Ricky Starks and his status with AEW. Plus, AEW Dynamite is live tonight from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York and, with days away from Forbidden Door, the show has set up multiple interpromotional matches to whet your appetite before the pay-per-view this Sunday.  Finally, All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling will unite once again this Sunday to host the third annual Forbidden Door crossover show in Elmont, New York. This year's show features professional wrestlers representing AEW, NJPW, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and World Wonder Ring Stardom. Topping the card is Swerve Strickland vs. Will Ospreay in a meeting between the AEW world champion and AEW international champion, respectively. The first match involves Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, and Finn Balor for the men and the second will include Iyo Sky, Kiana James, and Zelina Vega.  Most importantly, Drew McIntyre will address his loss to Damian Priest at this past week's Clash at the Castle PLE and how he will respond to CM Punk screwing him in his own home country. Punk will not be in attendance tonight, but will be on Friday Night Smackdown in his hometown of Chicago. Looming on top of all of this is Priest’s title defense against Drew McIntyre in less than two weeks in Scotland. Liv Morgan is scheduled for an appearance on Raw tonight. Liv ended last week’s show by sending Becky Lynch packing from WWE in a steel cage match and then planting a big kiss on Dominik Mysterio, after he once again played a role in Liv’s victory. Also, in WWE contract news, Chad Gable's WWE Contract is set to expire on Friday.
