We've heard it over and over from some of the highest spiritual people, "We've lived this life before." To most it best explains deja vu. It looks and feels like something you've done but how did the story play out? The chapters we keep remind us of Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. The same challenges, changes, opportunities, defeats and sometimes with different people. I do want to agree with those mighty universal people about living this life before but through the eyes of knowing rather than assuming. Do we think before we think and see before there's sight? That's the dip in the road. Each of us are guilty of making the same mistake again and again. The last time you were easily forgiven, the fall didn't hurt so lets do it again and quite possibly nothing holds you tightly to the center of a round box. I love paging through my daily writing to take note of there being habits or crutches that I've returned to. To study the mindset of a creative person that's taken what he knew then to create what I know now. Knowing that we've lived this life before through our daily efforts should infect and affect the way you grow toward success. The structure of the workplace portrait may have changed but not the person your feet keep carrying forward. Encouraging yourself to jot down daily notes of your goals, wishes, demands, failures and chances taken is a brilliant page from the actuality of your availability. Don't hit the books bringing judgement against your opportunities. Be transparent, "Hey I took a left instead of a right and found my journey stuck on a set of railroad tracks somewhere near a beat up old church and a McDonalds." Instead of your success being locked into a concept. Think before you think and see before there's sight. You've lived this life before. Know it by activating the lessons learned along the way. You can't build a foundation without a hole. The next downpour could easily wash it away.
