This week, the series has a guest storyteller in Kay Kyser (aka: The Old Professor) host of radio's classic music quiz program The Kollege of Musical Knowledge.
He reads the story, "Hot Piano" introduces us to a respectable professor of music appreciation who just engaged to an equally respectable psychology professor. However, he has a secret past as a great barrelhouse and boogie woogie piano player. His comfortable facade when his old bandmates want him to make a comeback to make the big time.
