Kristin Barton, CRMT has been a Reiki Master/Teacher since 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services administration, and spent time as a social worker prior to devoting herself to full-time employment as a healer and writer. In 2005, Kristin obtained her Seichem Reiki Master certificate, and became a Karuna ® Reiki Master/Teacher in 2007. Her greatest joy is teaching and practicing energy healing, along with practicing her unique massage combination, for which she has earned a stellar local reputation. Having always enjoyed writing, Kristin began a free-lance writing career in 2002, and remains a prolific published author to this day. Her credits range from international print magazines to small eclectic journals to websites. Subjects about which she writes vary widely, and include holistic health and wellness, self-help, small business administration, popular culture, how-to, family and parenting, cooking, metaphysics, and women's interest. Kristin lives in Coon Rapids, Minnesota with her husband Chuck and her daughter Taija. She is an ordained minister through CoG, and offers healing circles and spiritual counseling to women who have been sexually abused and exploited.
